Mehfil Restaurant — Restaurant in Hyderabad

I have ordered online from this Mehfil a couple of times and also a few times from their other branches. This was the first time I had dining experience here. Unfortunately I won't be a future customer. Despite its popularity, it looks decent so I took my friends out for a late lunch, after a swimming session on a hot sunny day but to my surprise from start to finish it was devastating. The roof was leaking with water on our tables, there was no proper AC in AC section and the staff was sullen to put it politely... As we were extremely hungry and couldn't wait longer for food I ordered the Mutton Biryani family. I noticed that the waiter seemed a bit distant. I had to request for water as it wasn't offered And then the food arrived... Hyderabad ki Shaan, Mutton Biryani Straight away I found out the potentially tastesome element of the meal "mutton pieces" were undercooked, everything else was very blunt. Mirchi ka salan was just not really there and Onion salad was rotton. We called the Manager and we asked him to check the mutton pieces, the manager angrily and begrudgingly, replaced the Mutton pieces but still some pieces were hard as rocks. Though we decided it was unacceptable, were very hungry so we ate it anyway. The waiter who'd served us was typing away on his mobile throughout this and hadn't apologised for serving the partially cooked meal. He seemed indifferent to the situation. Eventually, The service industry has to change if this city is to ever improve. My absolute advice is stay away from this...

This place is visible clearly from road. Always crowded as it is one of the best foods in attapur. It has 3 floors where in cellar it is a family restraunt, ground floor it is a takeaway and delivery section &1st floor it is for like bachelors, singles that kind of. 1st floor and cellar is AC seating where the items cost 20% higher than that are sold in ground floor as it is a AC area so choose accordingly. There wide range of varieties in food for non-veg. Vegetarians also have good options like paneer biryani, kaju biryani, that are introduced recently and for takeaway the quantity they give for single person order is enough for 2 persons. Taste is better better than many other reputed restaurants. Takeaway takes some 15-20mins even though there is lot of crowd. If the crowd is less they deliver it very fast. Ambience is ok ok. Parking is also free here and dont put handel lock so that the security can help people in parking space utilization and the help u in parking like valet parking. Embarrassing staff who doesn't co-ordinate with each other, doesn't care about customer and doesn't know what they are doing. I ordered a chicken biryani and it took 35minutes for them to acknowledge the order (waiter came to me after 35min to confirm "sir, apka chicken biryani hai ya mutton"). Seriously man???

When I tried to ask the guy who took my order, 'what's wrong?' and they (order taker and waiter) started arguing between themselves and just ignored the customer (me) who was waiting for the order from almost 45 minutes (35+10 min of their argument).

Moreover, when asked they happily cancelled my order after their debate (not to mention, there were more customers left unattended meanwhile!).

I really doubt how this place became so famous!!!🤔

*Stupid and careless staff! *Bad ambience! (It was smelling like a locker full of wet clothes kept locked for a week and just opened) *Not tasted, but I am sure the food was definitely not worth waiting for 1hr.

Never gonna visit here again. 👎👎👎 Never gonna recommend...
