Pista House, Sanath Nagar — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Today, We recently visited your restaurant and ordered Chicken Majestic, Roti, Kadai Paneer, and a couple of Chicken Fry Piece Biryanis. Unfortunately, the Fry Piece Biryani had an unusually sweet taste, which was quite unexpected and off-putting. When we brought this to the attention of the service staff, we were told that it was due to excessive cream sauce added by the chef, which may have caused the sweetness.

As Hyderabad is renowned for its flavorful and authentic biryanis, this was extremely disappointing. We were also told that, since it was close to closing time, nothing could be done to rectify the issue. This response was disheartening, especially considering we had come in hungry and eager to enjoy a good meal.

We ended up leaving the biryanis untouched on the table and walked out after paying the full bill. No finger bowls or saunf pouches were provided either. For the price charged, basic service standards were not met. Highly disappointing — never expected this from your restaurant.

This experience was frustrating and left us deeply dissatisfied. Such easily correctable mistakes and lack of proper customer service can severely affect the brand’s reputation.

Just had Mutton Nalli Biryani at Pista House and it was the worst uncooked mutton I ever had in my life. The waiter said that it's todays special and I thought that he was saying the truth but after having some realised I did a big mistake. He said I would get 8 to 10 pieces of Mutton and I did get but all of them were uncooked. This one branch of Pista House is enough for the entire Pista House restaurant to loose it's brand image. I complained the same to the Waiter and they replaced with only 2 pieces of mutton for the 10 pieces of uncooked mutton. Later had to order a Mutton Biryani Single to have some good mutton pieces. Went there to try newly opened Mandi, we wanted to try chicken alfaham and mutton juicy Mandi but we were just two people so we ordered one Chicken al faham Mandi which was 549 on the menu given to us, for extras, there was fried mutton and mutton. we told them to get the mutton they said we will get fried mutton. We said we don't want fried mutton, they refused saying there is error in Menu, additionally, before getting the order then they said the prices on the menu are not valid, price of Chicken al faham Mandi is 599 and not 549 which is listed on the menu.
