Roobaroo Cafe — Restaurant in Hyderabad

This is a detailed review of my visit at roobaroo cafe : So I wanted a place to hangout alone and with a good ambience , I visited this cafe on a Saturday around 5 p.m and I stayed till 6:00 p.m. It was a little crowded but not too much .

AMBIENCE: It is good I would give it 4.5/5 , the temperature is mainted perfectly. Not too cold not too hot . Seating is a little too close , if you want to hangout alone it can get a little awkward. There's an ample amount of outdoor seating and a separate small section , and main seating area which is indoors. I sat indoors , the tables could be unstable . The music is fine(not exactly of my taste), they were playing songs from the same movie for a little too long ..

FOOD: I can't really give a proper review for their food as I only ordered a cappuccino ,it was my first time trying it .. I'd give it a 3.5 , (cappuccino is not for me .. as I found it too bitter .... they do provide sugar sachets ) I like that they provide brown sugar as well . They do have large variety of food from sandwiches to burgers , starters , hot and cold beverages. Which range from 120 -400 most of the stuff is affordable.

SERVICE: As I took my seat I was given the menu , it took me a while to place my order , I understand that there's some crowd but the staff was not so receptive. There was only one of the staff member who took my order and gave me the bill and served me ..(he was nice) The staff should have better coordination. I was sketching most of the time so I might be wrong but I observed only that person is taking care of the whole main seating area near the desk. The place doesn't have any student discount. This was one of my worst dine-in experiences in Hyderabad. It was a regular place for my friends who took us there with high hopes, only to be disappointed in every way possible. From the horrible service, random serving style to serving cold food, we had the complete package of hopeless and horrible dining experience one could ask for. It started with a long waiting time for our drinks. Then when we asked for bottled water, the waiter brought us one bottle (for 7 people) with one glass, I guess sharing is caring but not all of us wanted to share one glass. We had to specially ask for glass for each person, I mean, maybe this isn’t common knowledge in this restaurant. This was followed by my friend getting served cold chicken steak which obviously had to be sent back because none of us were planning on getting salmonella that week. As someone who has had my fare share of frozen pizzas in my life, I can bet on my month’s salary, they gave me frozen pizza and not a in-house prepared one. As though, I can’t afford frozen pizza from a supermarket and had to buy it at a higher margin from a reataurant. The rajma stew my dad ordered had exactly 10 Rajma beans and to make sure we could taste authentic rajma, the chef had made sure it wasn’t cooked. Very thoughtful.
