Disappointing Service at Zaitun Restaurant, Falaknuma

I recently visited Zaitun Restaurant in Falaknuma on 24/03/2024 and was disappointed with the service I received. While the chicken mandi itself was satisfactory, my experience was marred by two key issues:

Limited Portion Control: When ordering the chicken mandi, we specifically requested two chicken breasts. Unfortunately, the staff member we interacted with was quite rude and dismissive of this request. This lack of flexibility and accommodation was frustrating.

Inaccurate Menu Information: The restaurant's menu included a dessert section, which led us to believe that desserts were available. However, upon attempting to order dessert, we were again informed by a staff member, in a rude manner, that the listed options were unavailable. This inconsistency between the menu and what was actually offered was misleading.

A similar situation occurred with the cold drinks selection. It would be beneficial for Zaitun to ensure their menu accurately reflects what's currently available to avoid setting unrealistic expectations for guests.

Overall, while the food itself was acceptable, the impolite staff behavior and inaccurate menu information significantly detracted from my dining experience. I would hope that Zaitun can address these issues to improve customer satisfaction...

It's located near Falaknuma palace and is a fine restaurant offering Arabian cuisine. Have nicely separated sections with curtains. Offers Mandi and other Arabian dishes along with soft drinks and Desserts. The cost is just a little high but acceptable with respect to the quantity. The number of waiters can be improved to serve more customers as this a pretty famous restaurant. No longer waiting time will be a plus for the restaurant. The food quality was commendable and lived up to expectations. However, the overall dining experience was affected by the cleanliness and maintenance of the seating area. The sitting rugs had remnants of food from previous customers, and the mandi tables were not properly cleaned.
