Paakasaala - The Andhra Kitchen offers a delightful experience for those craving the authentic flavors of Andhra cuisine. With a diverse menu featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, the restaurant promises a traditional South Indian culinary journey, complete with aromatic biryanis.
I recently had the pleasure of trying the Andhra Chicken Pakoda, a reasonably priced delight at Rs.99 per plate. The portion size was generous, and the quality of the dish was evident. The unique taste left a lasting impression, making it a definite must-try for anyone visiting the establishment.
Moving on to the Andhra Chicken Biryani priced at Rs.249, I found the dish to be satisfying. While I cannot vouch for its authenticity as I haven't tasted the original from Andhra, the biryani at Paakasaala had a pleasing flavor. The reasonable quantity and quality for the price make it a tempting choice for biryani enthusiasts.
One commendable aspect of Paakasaala is the friendly and efficient staff, with the lady taking orders being particularly welcoming. The availability of beverages at MRP adds a positive note to the overall dining experience.
However, there are a couple of areas where the restaurant could improve. Firstly, the presence of dogs roaming around the dining area could be unsettling for some customers. While it's understandable that some people feed the dogs, steps should be taken to prevent them from mingling with diners.
Secondly, the absence of tissues, spoons, and other cutlery on the tables was a minor inconvenience. Ensuring that basic dining necessities are readily available would enhance the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Paakasaala - The Andhra Kitchen is a commendable choice for those seeking an authentic taste of Andhra cuisine. With a few adjustments to address minor inconveniences, this restaurant has the potential to become a go-to spot for lovers of South...

If you have even an ounce of self-respect, I strongly urge you to stay far away from Paakasala.
We visited this place today, seeing the crowd and hoping for a good experience. What followed was one of the most humiliating experiences I've ever had at any restaurant. All tables were full when we arrived, so we patiently waited — for 30 to 40 minutes — without complaint. Finally, we were told to sit at a table where the previous customers had just left, and staff were asked to clean it. Just as we approached the table, someone from outside came and mentioned that "some ASP sir's friends" had arrived. Instantly, the same staff member who told us to sit snatched the table away from us, claiming it was “pre-booked.”
Let me be blunt: we were publicly insulted to make room for some so-called "VIP" group. Since when did public servants — who are supposed to serve citizens — become entitled to such royal treatment that common customers like us are pushed aside like we don’t matter?
What kind of restaurant values hierarchy over basic decency and customer service? The staff had no sense of fairness, no accountability, and absolutely no customer respect. This felt less like a restaurant and more like a colonial-era club for the privileged.
If this is how Paakasala operates — by humiliating regular guests to favor local “officials” — then it does not deserve your time, money, or attention. There are thousands of restaurants in Indore that serve equally good or better food — and treat customers like human beings.
We walked out, deeply insulted, and ended up at Aai's Kitchen just 100–200 meters away. The contrast was night and day — fantastic food, polite staff, and genuine hospitality.
Food might matter, but basic respect matters more. And Paakasala has...

Ordered andhra chicken thali thinking ill get something like Bangalore's Nagarjuna or andhra mess food. Can't tell you how disappointed I was when the order finally came. It was nothing like the actual. The menu had listed out the items thst id get with the thali. 4 things of those, thet brought only after I asked for it. Ither items were said to be only available during some occasion and veg fry would only be available for veg thali.
Overall a total disappointment.
Many others there were ordering biryani. I think that would've been a smarter choice.
