Would never recommend this cafe to anyone. We visited this cafe on a Sunday evening and ordered Margherita and Farmer's Market Pizza, a cookie and cream frappe, some thick shakes (kit kat, very bery, banoffee frappe) and some cheesy loaded fries. The food and beverages are terrible. The cheese on top of the pizza and fries had foul smell. Also the portion size of pizza was way smaller than a personal pizza at a Domino's. The pizza was simply thin pizza base you get in a supermarket and some sauce and rotten cheese on top. Coming to beverages, the cookie and cream frappe and thick shakes neither looked nor tasted like what they should, and somehow all tasted like a cold coffee. You can see the photograph of the frappe and other shakes we got served. The cafe also tricked us into paying for ingredients that were out of stock. The menu card does not state about portions of the food/beverages. About the service: The counter server was not able to communicate in English or Hindi, and was not able to understand our orders and later the issue. The Manager is the worst. When asked about the ingredients, manager replied that the menu was old and these food/other items does not exactly contain what is mentioned on the Menu. And yet we were charged the higher price as per OLD menu. When confronted about the quality of food and beverage, and menu, he smirked as if he knew about these issues and had been tricking several customers, but this time he knew his scam has been caught. In small cities like ours, people often try to trick consumer and sell wrong products. By doing so, these sellers are only wrecking their reputation,...
Read moreMy review after two years- On my recent dine in, I ordered chicken grilled sandwich and on the reception noticed that the cook did not use gloves to chop the vegetables/chicken. This was out of my expectations from this place and have really taken my trust off of this place. The cooks might have been touching all kinds of things before a customers order and because this is an eatery it is their duty to wash their hands and even then too to operate cooking jobs with gloves and hygiene. Apart from gloves, the cook and the receptionist wasn’t wearing face mask which also shocked me. Really disappointing on this part of this Café as this is the most important part of any Café/Eatery. I would hold myself from coming here from now on and wouldn’t recommend anybody if hygiene is a concern to them. This was one of my favourite places to have coffee because the beverages here are really good tasting. Now that I have seen them operating without having gloves on them, I doubt the hygiene of the beverages as well. I hope they...
Read moreOkay, so the cafe really upped their game in the past year or so. I've had a bad experience previously but I do think they've invested good time and effort to improve themselves. The biggest differentiator for this cafe now is that they've included manual methods for brewing coffees in their menu i.e. they now have V60s, aeropresses and French presses in their arsenal apart from the regular espresso machine. AFAIK, they're the only cafe in Jabalpur to offer this. So if you're into that, this is the place! Also, they sell these equipments as well along with their own coffee beans and ground coffees. I've not had the opportunity to try all of'em but I have high hopes and will be updating this. And yea, if you like Frappes then do try them, although most of them taste the same. I bet you won't be able to differentiate a mocha frappe from their dark mocha frappe! The staff is polite, the ambience is nice and the whole affair is definitely on the...
