Redefining Jabalpur’s Food Scene – Where Passion Meets Flavour

Being born and raised in Jabalpur, if someone had told me a few years ago that I’d find truly authentic global cuisines here, I would have laughed it off. But then The New Yorker Café came along and completely changed not just my perspective, but the city’s too!

I’ve been visiting since 2019, and over the years, I’ve seen this place create magic dish after dish. Even when they shifted locations, they only came back better and stronger. What’s even more impressive is how consistent they’ve been, never letting me down, only improving year after year and surprising us with more wonderful dishes.

The Food: What makes The New Yorker Café stand out is the passion behind the menu. Chef Shubhansh doesn’t blindly replicate popular dishes - he pours in research, creativity, and heart into everything he serves. The result? A menu that is massive, diverse, and downright irresistible.

They’ve perfected Italian, Thai, Mediterranean, and American cuisines, whether it’s authentic risottos and ravioli, Mi Goreng, Ramen, Sourdough Pizza, massive burgers, Panzerotti, or Chicken Parmesan, the range is wild, and the quality is consistently top-notch. Add to that their decadent shakes, mocktails, and coffee (all flawless), and of course, the legendary blueberry cheesecake that’s the perfect grand finale.

The Experience: What truly makes the café exceptional is Chef Shubhansh himself. He personally visits tables, helps you choose based on what you’re in the mood for, and even customises dishes like no one else. He carries a rare balance: confident in his craft but never snobbish; instead, he remains humble, approachable, and always open to genuine feedback. Along with him, the staff and servers are prompt, courteous, and attentive, ensuring you feel cared for from start to finish. The prices are apt and completely justified for the premium food experience they deliver.

Ambience & Vibes: The space is warm, cozy, and effortlessly inviting. It’s the kind of place where you can spend hours whether chatting with friends, working, reading, or simply enjoying a quiet cup of coffee. And their music? Always on point, sometimes groovy, sometimes soulful, perfectly elevating the dining experience.

If you’re looking for the most authentic and elevated contemporary cuisine in Jabalpur, The New Yorker Café is the place to be. Come with an open mind, and prepare to be blown away - it’s truly an experience...

Must try this place if you have a big pocket and wanna eat Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Continental as well as American dishes..This place has a variety of dishes tends us to order every single dish 😂 specially the non veg dishes...But we had ordered veg as one of our friends is completely vegetarian so ..but even those dishes were totally delicious the main thing is that they are unique about the taste whether it is Italian, Chinese cuisine that are just like original ones ...We had ordered 3 dishes -VEGETABLE ARRABBIATA PASTA,HERB CRUSTED COTTAGE CHEESE WITH VEGGIES and MUSHROOMS AND BABY CORN IN SALT AND PEPPER and a cupcake and we were full after that so couldn't order more but wished could be..They are also very specific about the presentation ,the dish is served only when first checked by their superior..The price was a little bit expensive but under budget.. Our total bill was somehow 1200..And we pledged to come back here soon for non veg dishes and will tell you after that about those ones...This place has an awesome ambience and services ,not as spacious as there is 1 big and 2-3 normal tables but photogenic place..Overall I'm impressed with the place and...

This is one promising venture! The entire experience was one of a kind. Firstly, the food was delightful. We ordered a Cookie Dookie Shake, a Tagliatelle Aglio Olio Pepperoncino Pasta, a Cajun Burger and a Cubano Sandwich. The shake was very different from the usual stuff we get in Jabalpur. And deliciously so. The burger and the Cubano were great. But the pasta was the definitely the winner. It was freshly made by the chef which in itself is a never-before-seen thing for us at Jbp. The flavors and the seasoning was just perfect with the right amount of olive oil. We honestly don't get such pasta here. Very, very authentic. Secondly, the ambience is classy. Thirdly, the chef, Shubhansh, is a wonderful person who was kind enough to speak to us and the conversation reflected his genuine passion for food. Overall, this is going to be my go-to place for delicious...

Best place to have authentic continental cuisine in Jabalpur. It was our first visit at this place, and definitely it won't be the last visit because of the delicious food we had. We started with "Cheesy Nachos" followed with "Tingy Paneer & Pepper Pizza".Thin crust of pizza, sauce, herbs and fresh veggies is very delicious. Also, we had one of the best "Honey Chilly sauce" with "French fries". At last the signature dish "Tagliatelle A.O.P" was also good. Ambience and the selection of music playing in background was also good. The owner or we can say the Chef of the cafe was so polite & hard working that he puts his 100% to prepare the dish. A must visit place in jabalpur for food lover.
