Extremely Disappointed – Serving Stale & Frozen Food at Brown Sugar

Had a very poor experience at Brown Sugar recently. The food served was clearly stale and frozen, not freshly prepared as one would expect.

I brought this to the attention of the manager, Mr. Amit, but he was completely uncooperative and unwilling to listen. Instead of addressing the issue, he dismissed my concerns rudely. I even requested to speak with the owner, but that too was denied.

It's arguably the best bakery and confectionery shop around Vidhyadhar Nagar in Jaipur. The hazelnut cake delectably delicious. You must try that at least once. This place offers surprisingly good handmade chocolates and cookies. My friend also loved those when I gifted on her anniversary. Besides giving finger licking good sweet tooth experience in confectionery side, the customer service is also warm and welcoming on the human side of things. I had a disappointing experience here. The coffee tasted more like water with a splash of milk, and the hot chocolate was no better – it felt like Hershey's syrup mixed in water. The overall quality left a lot to be desired. Even after requesting the waiter to change, he mixed more syrup and gave the drink. It is becoming worst than local bakery shop.
