Raj Mahal The Oberoi Rajvilas Jaipur — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

My dining experience at Rajmahal Restaurant, situated in the Oberoi Rajvilas Jaipur, was far from satisfactory. I had high hopes for the establishment, as I had mentioned the occasion during the booking process, but my expectations were not met, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment in the hopes that potential future guests will be better prepared.

Firstly, when we ordered our meal, we specifically requested soft Tandoori Roti to accompany our dishes. However, when the food arrived, we were dismayed to find that the Roti was hard and lacked the desired fluffy texture. We informed our server of the issue, and they agreed to replace it with Tawa Roti

To our surprise and frustration, the final bill still reflected the cost of the original Tandoori Roti, as well as the additional Tawa Roti we received.

Furthermore, we had to wait approximately 15 minutes for the cart to arrive to drop us off at the lobby, despite informing the steward well in advance before settling our bill. This delay added to the overall disappointment of our experience.

Although we mentioned the occasion during the booking process, there was nothing special done by the team to commemorate it. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, but the overall experience was marred by the subpar service, poorly prepared food, billing mistake, and the long wait for the cart. Considering the high price point of the restaurant, I expected better attention to detail and customer care.

In conclusion, my experience at Rajmahal Restaurant at the Oberoi Rajvilas Jaipur was disappointing and frustrating. The hard Tandoori Roti, unresponsive service, overcharged bill, and delayed cart left a negative impression that I cannot recommend this restaurant to others. I will not be returning...
