Just Bukhara — Restaurant in Jammu and Kashmir

Being one of its earlier customers, developed a good understanding with the manager (who is from the owners family), a nice & warm person. Food used to be great! However, a few days ago, went over with my family. Asked a tall & muscular waiter to fetch me a Diet Coke which were stuffed in the fridge in their bakery section as I myself saw them while on my way up to the restaurant floor. He rudely refused & said it is not available. I requested him to fetch it but he didn't pay attention. Ordered butter chicken, mutton kanti & pizza.

Butter chicken was ordinary

The mutton pieces in the mutton kanti were stale, undercooked & without any apparent flavour, a total wastage of money!

Pizza was below average. Cheese had not been melted properly & stale chicken was used as topping.

Visited the bakery portion for the first time after being heard alot from my colleagues but the man standing there trying to hide the price I paid him 100 bucks for bread n snack it costs 87/- & he is not willing to return till the time I ask ..I clearly saw he was holding rest of amount but when I ask remaining balance he just paid 10 and without my consent put 8-10 pieces of backey in my pack. I again ask for a bottle of carbonated water fearing that I may know that he has change but not given me earlier he said I don't have 5 Rs to give back. Overall He was cheating his master and customer on the whole although products are good but Owner need to keep an eye on his men. "A few years ago, I visited Gulmarg with my friends, Dr. Javed , Dr. Irfan and Er Shakeeb .On return we ate at Just Bukhara restaurant and then stumbled upon a bakery that was highly recommended. We purchased some baked goods for Eid which turned out to be very good, and even family members/guests who consumed them later praised the quality. However, when I got a chance to visit Gulmarg again this year 2 days before Eid ( 2025) with my family and friends, we all bought baked goods from the same bakery shop (Just Bukhra) again for Eid , but this time they were extremely disappointing – the worst I've ever seen.
