Raja Dhaba — Restaurant in Jammu and Kashmir

Raja Dhaba is located in the Srinagar Gulmarg highway. The place has seating inside as well as outside. The ambiance is simple but the outlet needed a little cleaning.

The food was good in taste. The Dal fry was okay. The Cheese Dum Aloo are not dum aloo but kofta with sprinkle of cheese. The Paneer curry had a lot of smoky flavour. The Pulao was great here. Also the roti coming out of the Kitchen was okay. There are just too many flies all around.

Since there are only few options for pure veg food on this highway, you might have to settle...

'Good food, a little pricey, understandable given that it's in a tourist destination.' We're pure vegetarian, so, we went here on recommendation of a local. Food was very tasty. We tried the Kashmiri special- Nadru (Lotus stem) curry with Butter Rotis and loved it. The rotis were well made. We also had Palak Paneer and Aloo Paratha on the next day. We were here in the 1st week of Jan, it was freezing cold outside. They have a fire place where you can warm up yourselves and have food in a cosy environment!...

Worst food. Pls don't stop here even if u are so hungry. Yesterday morning on the way to Gulmarg we stopped here for breakfast and jus has one stuffed paratha. As soon as we reached phase 2 in Gulmarg , my son started vomiting. We went to heath centre and already many ppl wh she complains came to hospital. All local ppl saying don't ever try for Raja dhana... they store food and freezer and serve hot by reheating.worst experience. Our whole mood of enjoying in snow has spoiled. Worst...
