Zaffran Restaurant ( Multi-Cuisine Restaurant) — Restaurant in Jammu and Kashmir

We happened to be hungry on our way back from Gulmarg towards Srinagar. Zaffran, looks beautiful, when it comes to the exterior designing. It is right on the highway, with plenty of car parking. It's a nicely laid out restaurant with comfortable seating. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken, Dal Khichdi, Chicken fried rice, Egg Bhurji and some breads. The tandoori chicken was a disaster. It was bland and lacked any taste whatsoever. It was a very bad start to be honest. Though skeptical, we tried the other dishes, which really saved the day. Amazing place. We were on our way back from gulmarg to srinagar and stopped by this newly opened restaurant which is pure veg. Since we were not so hungry, we ordered masala dosa and paneer dosa and Amritsari tikki. The South Indian was amazing and the portion was apt for a person to be full. Amritsari tikki is a must try here. It was awesome. I have never had such an amazing tikki specially when travelling. We were so full with dosas that we asked them to pack the tikkis after tasting one. It was so delicious that we couldn't waste a single bite of it. We two families have come here from Pune to visit Gulmerg,While going back to shrinagar, we enjoyed food here in Zaffran restaurant..just want to share our experience about Amazing service,, delicious food, nice ambiance of this restaurant..here we ordered tomato soup, butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, Lasuni Palak,, Dal tadka and rice ,,wow.. Wonderful taste,,, even tanduri roti and naan was perfect(I must thank CHEF for such a mouth watering food) I would like to mention one more thing that is hot water for washing hands...
