SARWARIYA SWEETS & RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Jhansi

Initially it was good, but now service and quality has degraded at lowest levels. Some points under notice in my recent visit :-

All used plates lying on tables for too long even after customer has gone which is becoming infected with flies.

Just standardizing the process doesn't make the quality good. You can see that in their aloo chaat/tikki. They have ready made balls of the same (probably made in their warehouse) which is just being fried and given to customers. The person making it is just doing his job of barely meeting the ends. Hence the tikki doesn't taste hot, even ragda and chatnis are not that good.

Air conditioners are there as show piece, no one is there to operate. No one there for regular desk and table cleanups etc. Pathetic hygiene of store in rainy season makes it look more terrible.

There are many issues that can't be listed here like that of card payment machine, open (uncovered) sweets, maskless operations etc etc. Final word on review - "Sarwariya is synonymous to Badi Dukaan...

With no plan we stop over in Jhansi. Before entering Jhansi we just googled and found this Sarwariya sweets & Restaurant's nice feedback.

We went there very simple place in bit of old town. But food was really nice. Their paneer burji was very differently made but amazing. Team members were very quick on any request.

Sweets here must try, few are very unique. Sorry i forgot name but it can be prepared only with cow milk some laddu type barfi similar to kalakand but it was amazing.

Worth going here and have wonderful meal.

Please go here blindly. May be getting here in day time a bit difficult as it looked like little old town area. But somehow come here. You will enjoy...

Naam bade darshan chote.....Post covid, the quality of the sweets and other items have reduced drastically....I m not writing this coz of one incident but many...I agree it used to be good but not now...also they have a newly added scheme wherein if you post positive in Google maps they're gonna give 5% discount...so it could be the reason for soo many positive reviews....And not just me but my neighbours, other family friends all are seen complaining about it and have stopped buying sweets from here...cut...
