The Padosan — Restaurant in Jharkhand

This place has been here for a long time. They have a variety of seating area - small personal huts, normal testauy type area, separate drinking area. It also has park like greenery and playing space for kids.

The food here is really good. We were served a lot of food and everything was yum.

Chicken Tandoori It was yum. The chicken was a bit overcooked, aside from it everything was good. And the presentation was top notch.

Harabhara Kabab It was too good. The coating was very crunchy and tangy and the filling was equally yum. The best harabhara Kabab we ever tried. Totally Recommended !!

Paneer Makhmali It was good. It had stuffings inside which was too yum. Will recommend this too.

Padosan Special Daal Tadka It was yum. Liked the flavours.

Handi Mutton It was good. Pieces were tender. The gravy was yum. One of the best mutton we had. Was totally giving the Desi homemade vibes. Totally recommended !!

Garlic Butter Naan It was good.

Padosan Special Sabzi It had 3 different types of paneer gravy and each of them was equally yum. If you want to taste different flavours while paying only for one, definitely go for this.

Murgh Musallam The gravy was yum. Pieces were tender. Overall a good dish.

Yesterday visited my childhood favourites: The Padosan restaurant after a long time in kathal more, Ranchi and I'm literally disappointed with my decision to visit here. The huge property is not at all maintained, the real disappointment was the food we ordered, we ordered kadhai Paneer, Mushroom masala, veg pulao, The Padosan special, soft drinks and ice creams. Apart from the kadhai Paneer every dish was very bland and oily. The Padosan special dish was very oily, veg pulao is too sweet. The only thing good about this place is their service, service is excellent and staffs are very polite and well taught. The Padosan has so much to offer and this place is one of my childhood favourites, visiting this place after a long time and having such experience is quite bad for me.
