Worst Dining Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs!
I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Ma Ki Dhani was so awful that I feel compelled to warn others. This place is a complete disaster, and I would strongly advise you to stay far away. Here’s why: Not Family Friendly: The atmosphere was incredibly uncomfortable, especially for families. The place was noisy, chaotic, and had a very unwelcoming vibe. Not at all what you’d expect from a family-friendly restaurant. It felt more like a rowdy bar than a place for a meal with loved ones. Owner and His Friends Were Drunk: To top it all off, the owner and his friends were visibly drunk. They were loud, obnoxious, and making the entire dining experience uncomfortable. It’s totally unprofessional and completely unacceptable in any kind of dining establishment. Rude Behaviour: The staff and even the owner were incredibly rude. They had no respect for customers and were extremely dismissive when asked about the menu or service. It’s baffling how they treat paying customers with such disdain. Unprofessional Staff: The staff had zero professionalism. They were slow, inattentive, and completely untrained. We had to wait forever to be served, and when they did bring our food, it was the wrong order. No apologies or attempts to make things right. Poor Food Quality: The food was absolutely terrible. The dishes were bland, overcooked, and lacked any real flavor. It honestly felt like they were serving leftovers. I couldn’t finish my meal, and I definitely didn’t feel like I was getting my money’s worth. Poor Hospitality: On top of everything else, the hospitality was nonexistent. No one seemed to care about our comfort or satisfaction. We were just another customer to be ignored.
I would never, under any circumstances, recommend this place to anyone. There are so many better options out there that actually care about their customers. If you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience, do yourself a favor and avoid Ma Ki Dhani. It’s a complete waste of...
Read moreI visited this restaurant yesterday for a late lunch and my experience was mix of pros & cons.
Pros :- Menu is carrying some different variety of curries and breads. Good interior. Excellent service. Neat and clean uniforms. Polite staff. Food taste was good, specially curries.
Cons :- Won’t suggest for families as yesterday in my case, we saw more than 90% of their clientele were mostly young age notorious types of people. For example: Circuit in Munna bhai MBBS movie.
Service staff needs proper training in terms of menu knowledge. I asked Lehsuni Chutney and Mirchi Ka Kuta and they served Makhan Chutney against my order. Upon asking to Waiter and Manager that why they haven’t served Lehsuni Chutney and Mirchi Ka Kuta, I got a reply that Makhan Chutney, Lehsuni Chutney and Mirchi Ka Kuta all are same. Up to my surprise they were not able to explain the basic difference between regular roti, Jalori Tikkad and Khoba roti.
Over priced and over rated restaurant by bloggers. They charged Rs. 50/- for a tiny portion of Makhan Chutney (Hardly a table spoon). It got finished when Waiter applied it on 1 Jalori Tikkad (Bread). So you’ll have to order another portion of Chutney for the 2nd tikkad. In fact, they charge Rs. 50/- for 20 ml ghee which comes to approx Rs. 2300/- per liter.
As a standard practice they don’t keep Regular/RO water on the tables. But you’ll find a Bisleri bottle before hand on the table for which you need to pay Rs. 20/- extra. I’ll suggest them as their standard practice to keep Regular/RO water on the tables and can always check with their guests about the requirement of Bisleri while taking the order.
5.Very Heavy food - It was so heavy that last night I skipped my dinner.
Service staff needs to focus more on hygiene standards as after regular intervals they were touching their hairs, nose, chairs etc and not washing...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at Maa Ki Dhani. First and foremost, the restaurant’s pricing strategy feels like a total scam. They charged an outrageous extra ₹50 for just 10 grams of ghee! While it's common for restaurants to charge for ghee, the amount they’re demanding is absurd and unjustifiable.
What made it worse is that they don’t even inform customers beforehand that they will be charging extra for ghee on Khoba roti. You order a Khoba roti, which already costs ₹140, expecting a fair portion of ghee, but you end up getting a barely noticeable amount, if any at all. Charging so much extra without providing the quantity or quality expected is downright unfair.
Additionally, the chapattis were disappointingly small in size, and yet they charged ₹30 for a ghee chapatti. For the price they’re asking, you’d expect something more reasonable, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
Overall, Maa Ki Dhani left a bitter taste in my mouth, not just because of the food but because of their deceptive pricing and poor service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless they enjoy being overcharged for subpar food.
They are totally scamming us in the name of...
