Visited on a Sunday afternoon. There was not much rush. Only 2 or 3 groups were there around 1-3 PM. Although there were many wait staff present, they didn't seem concerned about showing us a table to sit or taking our orders. Most of them just stood around chitchatting with each other. A few of them were a bit rude mannered as well. After a brief period of confusion, we found ourselves a place to sit. Although there were not many customers and our group had multiple members, they gave us just 1 menu. So requested and got one more. Many of the items in the menu were unavailable and this was informed to us only when we ordered them. This again caused us a lot of confusion and time waste. Food was average. Potion size was very less compared to the price. The fish served were some local fishes with no particular taste or quality. Fried rice didn't even have any side salads or pickles. Chairs had foot marks on them and oil smudges. There was no extra cutlery and the waiters just left a pile of plates on the table and left(didn't bother to distribute them). When we asked for extra spoons, they gave us 1 extra spoon. We had to wait for a lot of time for the bill also. We wanted to do cashless payment and couldn't find anyone to ask where to do this. Finally one of us walked over to the cash counter and made the payment by card. The dinning area is very sunny and extremely hot. All in all it was a very disappointing experience and we most probably will not visit this...
Β Β Β Read moreThe restaurant does not cater to customer experience.. It's negative. This place lacks hospitality. Have been to this place multiple times, yet this time the experience had crossed limits.
There was a concern about the food not being cooked enough and also spicy when we brought this to the notice of the manager, rather than checking or understanding our concern he sides with the waiter who was already raising his voice on us now and countering our concern.
Only to make it all the more difficult to even pay for the food which you didn't eat due to health concerns. (You vomit the food if it's not properly cooked!, probably they don't realise this) We paid.
The extreme happens when you go to find a closure to the matter to someone responsible, narrating the incident to the manager of the restaurant (dated 12th oct,25), the matter comes down to part payment of the dish you ordered. We just left after that. Could not take the humiliation any longer. If it was about the money we wouldn't have paid it in the first place. Rather than apologizing for the entire experience on behalf of the staff and his manager or atleast understanding what it was about, this is how it ended. No one checked, if the rice was cooked enough.
We didn't find anyone responsible person on the premises with training or even mindfulness on dealing with customers. Those who value that this is definitely not the place. What surprised us is, the staff outright lie and the mangers gulp down entirely...
Β Β Β Read moreWell the ambiance is beautiful along the riverside, but the people are fishy and cheated us very badly. On the Onam day, we 2 family went to this restro for lunch as the location seems so good. When we reached the tables are almost full and told us that dishes are not available but then the restro person told us to have sandiya with them, we agreed to it. We ask the price for the plate but the person just asked us to be seated and started serving us. We thought it's okay - he is too friendly it won't cost much as he was polite person. As soon as we finished, where I was the only person who couldn't eat anything except red hot water, sweet and chips and papad coz the food has no taste, Speacially sambar and rice. But since my fellow were hungry at 2.30 pm, they struggled to finish. The cost of each plate was 400 , they didn't tell us instead handed over the pink coupons. Now once u ate and wasted - no other option but to pay. To reach this place, we travelled 12kms , to be honest it's better to have gone to the beach directly instead of this restro. So overall guys, go on...
