Nandhu Hotel — Restaurant in Kalliasseri Block

Not worth the hype, bloggers nowadays just shower praises on any establishment out of the blue.

Its a good mom and pop like establishment and they serve descent food that's it don't expect that out of the world open eye moment when you eat biriyani from here - they are famous for beef biriyani and they serve chicken biriyani too. Both the biriyani are not dum cooked just masala and rice served together.

overall an humble restaurant catering to many common people around and for the buck paid we get worthy food.

wash area is pretty avg set up, tables service gets delayed often

It was crowded during lunch time. Had to wait to be seated. Food is good probably is the reason why it was crowded. Most of them were having chicken biryani, may be they serve good biryani. I was looking for tea, but the person who makes it was missing since it was lunch time. Had ghee rice, tasted good. Small restaurant, but was crowded and there were customers waiting to be seated. A small hotel with good food.. had beef biriyani.. it was not a proper dum biriyani. I guess they add rice over beef masala and serve. I didn't get the taste of an authentic dum biryani..(too much hype given) however, the quality of the rice is good and they serve with 4 big beef piece(I felt the beef should have cooked a little more). The service is also good... They charge only Rs120 for beef biryani.. and I should say for this price it's...
