This place is good, during our recent trip to Murudeshwar, we have ate 2 times here (Lunch and breakfast) at the and the experience was good. There is a lot of restaurants on the highway however based on the reviews, we chose this...Happy to say, the staff is very friendly, the in charge (sitting at the front desk), is very helpful, no language issues we observed, the food is good, the service is up to mark.

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR BREAKFAST & LUNCH.

Good Food Good Service. Restaurant has good ample seating capacity. A adjacent store sells snacks - So, you can have a quick stop there as well. Menu is decent, similar to any top South Indian restaurants like A2B or Udupi etc. The Service was good from our experience.

Cons: One quick tip would be - If you are ordering "Tandoor Rotti" and expecting crispy one, please ask them to make it as crispy.. In My case, we didn't say upfront, hence received a non crispy one however up on request he brought in a new fresh crispy one... According to the waiter, usually no one ask for crispy hence they dont make (acceptable response).

What we ordered vs rating Dal Fry and Crispy tandoor rotti - 4 Star Butter Milk - 4 Star Soup - Bad, less than a star [However they offered replacement] Jeera Rice - 2.5 star Sweet/Salt lime...

We thought since it's a pure veg restaurant let's try and that's where we made our first mistake, thinking that there are so many vehicles parked outside it'll be good, but little did we know that we should always always check the Google reviews. • Food was way below average • Service is PATHETIC • Despite bad service tips are expected if you don't tip you are bad mouthed constantly amongst other waiters • Wait time is forever • Same language people are given priority

We ordered Paneer Kolhapuri which has 06 TINY PIECES OF PANEER in it for ₹380 & Butter Naan which was average to chug that food we ordered lemon juice which was basically water with some froth no taste of lemon nor sugar luckily we added salt so paid ₹60 for that salt water

Over and above it was just pathetic I would rather starve then eat that pricy food with that kinda service attitude people.

I would rather recommend people who are looking for a decent place to eat 'Hotel Shree Nidhi' it's just 100 mtr from Murudeshwar Railway Station very nice homely tasty food will be served to you with a smile on face and no expectations for tip ! Try it and...

We visited the Kamat restaurant by the NH 66. The Cons:

We had visited with the family for our Dinner, we had ordered Noodles, Tomato Soup, Paneer Tikka, Dosa, Fried Rice, Dal Fry, mix vegetable maakhni, Tandoor Roti.

All items served, were tasteless without salt and cold. Even the rotis were cold. When asked for hot rotis, they said that we should have ordered for hot chapati.

The Masala Dosa ordered did not meet the expectations, Dosa and not Mysore Masala Dosa since it did not contain the spicy red masala normally used in Mysore Masala Dosa.

The waiter was insisting us to take masala dosa as he said it will take time serve north indian dishes. They took 45 minutes to serve north indian dishes.

Then they should remove these items from the menu.
