We stopped at Sri Krishna Bhavan on the Hassan to Bengaluru highway expecting a decent meal during our journey. What we got instead was a shockingly poor experience, both in terms of food quality and value for money.

We ordered the South Indian meals and a Veg Fried Rice. The meals were priced at a ridiculous ₹190 and honestly, the only edible part was the curd and rice. And that too only because they use our Nandini curd, which I had to specifically ask and confirm.

The Veg Fried Rice was equally disappointing. Priced over ₹200, it was bland, lacked flavor, and didn’t even come close to being filling. Definitely not worth the money.

What shocked me the most was when I raised my concerns with the staff, they casually said "We have no chef." How is it even acceptable to serve food at a restaurant without a proper chef? When I asked them not to serve this kind of tasteless food to others, they simply shrugged and said "What can we do? We only do as directed."

This kind of attitude is not just careless but shows a complete lack of responsibility or respect toward customers.

Sharing this as a sincere warning to anyone passing by. If you are looking for good food, do yourself a favor and...

I am giving this place single star fur below reasons. A group of 5 with 2 kids who are above 5 stopped here for quick bite. There were empty tables towards one suggestion of the hall. We choose a table with 6 chairs and sat there waiting for some one to come and take it order. One person Congress Ave tells that the place is only for self service. There were no markers saying it was stuff service. We move to another side and see that it's full. When I asked the person in-charge that we are 5 and we need a place he bluntly days that there is no place. He shows 4 to 5 tables and says it's full and there is no place. There were tables which were empty and they did not have courtesy to get them arranged quickly. This is the level of service they provide. Considering that is on a crowded Mangalore-bangalore Highway they should be better prepared to serve. Considering that they have vast place, good ambience, vast parking, they should do justice to their primary service which is food. I just had to drive further to sit and have food in another place. Hope they improve in near future. Hope they don't disappoint...

Food is Tasty, The location of this place is also apt for any traveler going by this route. Parking and security is also really well maintained. Washrooms and Restrooms are neat and well Maintained as well.

Then why 2 stars ? - Staff Behavior The guy who served us food, had no intention for customer satisfaction. I had ordered soup, rotis and gravy, though after instructing him, he brings roti and gravy first and then the soup. Our food went cold while we sipped on the soup.

He had that blank expression on his face, he didnt care. If you can understand what I am trying to say - I mean how can you eat the food when served with such a sullen face.

Next we complained about him to the seemingly owner of this place. Apart from an apology, our cold food concern was not addressed.

Then we see the same guy creating issues with 2 other customers. He doesnt say anything, just mumbles. I mean how more irritating can it get.

Once done with food, when you take your vehicle out, the security comes asking for tips. I mean common, pay...
