*End of Belekan Beach, around 6 km from Gokarna city (Private Bus station). *Rented scooters are easy options than auto(charge plenty).

*The only beach in Gokarna where you can see the Sunrise

*Ideal for morning walks

*Humid and hot in October

*AC is not yet available in the rooms, but the owner is planning to install them

*The beach isn't that amazing as it's not a clean beach, the sand is black and the stinking fish smell may annoy. But overall experience is nice.

Trekking:

*Trek from Belekan Beach to Om Beach (or vice versa) *A small trail leads to Paradise Beach, Half Moon Beach and Om Beach, further can trek till Kudle n Main Beach, But I haven't considered to do so. *Auto rickshaw available for transportation back to Belekan Beach.

*Om Shanti Paradise Cafe is a great option for budget-conscious travellers who want to experience the beauty of Gokarna's beaches.

*View from the first floor of cafe is just wow, with amazing lighting n music. One can get booze from outside n enjoy.

*The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the owner Mr. Darshan is friendly and helpful.

*The cafe serves up delicious and affordable meals.

I stayed in many places but this place is worthy for this budget. This hotel located at the end of belekan beach where the actual trek you can start here till main beach. Very close to Paradise beach if you have the plan to go by walk. This is quite silent atmosphere where you will feel alone, you can have booze in beach and clean your wastes. The guy who handles this property is so much helpful he can speak kannada English and little bit Tamil. He will help in arranging all things like drinks, boat ride contact also he will tell you for the plans based on your stays. He have the tent where he will arrange near beach. Better go to gokarna in off season where you will not see much crowded and you will enjoy the gokarna very much. Foods are very taste the hotel owner darshan and his wife & aunt preparing all the foods in south Indian style it was very good. You can have your liquor in rooms or restaurant dining where they will serve sides frequently if you ordered them. You can play cards, music system is yours. Budget food seriously. My favourite is idly with pepper chicken. Fish is extraordinary. I stayed three days where completely lost here with this place, this guy support and everything. Rooms are cheaper 1200 rs per room. He will get any amount while you checkin. Once you are about to leave he will ask you to pay. Very generic person you can able to see all the bills. He arranged two wheeler for day trips. He will arrange auto for pick and drop to station. Everything he can manage. Don't forget to visit...

A 5-Star experience primarily for the additional effort taken by the host to make sure we got a memorable dinner! Located right at the end of Belekan beach but easy to spot, Om Shanti Paradise has rooms and a simple restaurant with food and service to die for!

We ordered for Surmai(King Fish) fry, Bangda Fry, chicken curry, ghee rice, prawn masala and not to forget the lemon juice! Both the fish fry were just perfect, we even asked if they could make different Masala for both fry, they obliged and both tasted good, I would say the bangda tasted slightly better! Ghee rice with Chicken curry was the ultimate combo and it called for a repeat! Prawn curry was just ok, can be skipped. We re-made the Lime juice as the first one was a sugar syrup!

The reason for 5 star rating despite some minuses on the food is purely the service. As you see we got a special table arranged at the beach and lastly the price, we paid the price of 2 masala dosas from a 5Star hotel in a metro city for all of the above food!
