Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Karnataka

We stopped at an HPCL petrol pump about 37 km after passing Mangalore on the way to Udupi on NH66. Luckily it had a Café Coffee Day outlet in the same compound as the petrol station. So after refuelling our car we took a much needed coffee break. This air-conditioned CCD has a nice ambience, seating arrangement and décor. There were a variety of snacks available like cakes, muffins and pastries. The restaurant was well stocked with bottled juices and soft-drinks as well. We ordered two cups of latte coffee. Service was slow but the coffee was good. It was served in paper cups. It was very expensive compared to the normal filter coffee we could have had at Udupi town instead. We had a refreshing break. one good thing about this cafe coffee day is that we can enjoy coffee in the mid night too.. Their menu has the wide range of Hot coffee, Cold coffee, other cold beverages, Frappe, Croissant, Sandwiches, toasts. We had below food: Chilly cheese toast Spanish and corn and cheese Sandwich Classic Garlic bread Signature Cold Coffee Iced Cappuccino Coffee were great in taste but food was not worth a penny. The only reason for giving it a 3 and not a 5 is the staff here. They don't care much about the customers. The place is open 24 hours which means it is to attract a trendy crowd. When the college students want to have a night out here, there will be usually a little ruxkus. But, the staff here want to throw customers out in the name of cleaning the shop.

Apart from this, it's a great place to hangout. This made a lot of memories to many of the college students. Items are good and the prices are same as...
