Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Karnataka

Avoid this place at all costs.. This cafe is manned only one person named Shivraj.. he was constantly zoned out as he was on a call with someone throughout those 30 mins smiling n talking on the call wearing a wireless headphone. Firstly, for good 5 mins and did not even bother to come out of the kitchen and take the order on the billing counter even though he could see and hear us.. We patiently waited for him to come out and bill a pack of banana chips on completing the said payment fellow din bother to even handover the bill.. Given his attitude we thought let’s just take this n leave.. but i wanted to have an iced mocha so I was like it’s ok let’s go ahead and order.. he first made the drink while still busy on his phone n hands it over to us on to my shock he made a horrible tasting drink which was completely off n this is never ever happened any any coffee day in the last 20 years since I’ve been visiting.. I thought to myself it’s not my day n asked for the bill he clearly said 240 Rs to my surprise as the menu stated a higher amount and we made a upi payment to which he said it’s 100rs short it’s 340.. He was now adamant that it has to be paid in cash only as upi is only allowed once on a bill.. we paid but again he dint give is the bill unless we insisted him n i called out on his behaviour n not giving the bill twice .. If the franchise owners are reading this - word to the wise.. Fire this guy and save your self the trouble of dealing with such unethical...

Possible the best CCD in terms of its location on the highway.

It saved my ride back. Was drowsy while returning from a solo ride. Bangalore - Goa - Bangalore. Had that Expresso, fuelled up my ride and boom! That coffe kicked in like expected.

Everytime I drive back to Bangalore from any road trip, I stop here to get my much needed Expresso.

If you are returning from Goa or Mumbai or for argument sake let's say Hubli or Dharwad, then by the time you hit this CCD, you are either drained, tired or upright drowsy.

There are several good places on the highway but none matches the quality, hygiene and service of this outlet.

Located on the Bangalore Mumbai highway. It's a pretty small place. The last time we visited here while on our way to Bangalore for a quick break we found that the place is understaffed and over crowded.

The staff were unable to serve orders on time and all the customers had to repeatedly remind them of their order. The menu is typical CCD menu.

The place was quite crowded and we had to wait to get a table. The tables were not cleaned and we had to remind the staff to clean the tables.

The staff though we're friendly and doing their best to clear the orders.
