Absolutely disappointed with GameTheory Bagalur – A complete letdown for parents and kids.
I enrolled my 3-year-old daughter, who was genuinely excited about swimming, back in Nov 2024. During enrollment, the staff went on and on about using Michael Phelps’ training techniques – which turned out to be just a sales gimmick. Nothing even remotely close to that happened in reality.
They charged me ₹17,000 for 48 classes, each lasting only 30 minutes, to be completed within 6 months. That’s just 24 hours of training for a huge amount — not at all justified.
The worst part began right after joining: after just two classes, the temperature control system failed. This was during chilling winter, and my little one ended up swimming in freezing cold water. She fell sick and was unwell for over two weeks. When I went back after her recovery, I was told the center was closed for repairs and that they would extend the validity — which never actually happened.
The temperature issues continued on and off, and many times I was forced to make my child swim in cold water because no one at the center seemed to care or offer real solutions. From being a child who loved water, she’s now terrified of swimming. When I ask her why, she simply says, “The water is too cold.” And she’s right — even as an adult, I couldn’t bear it.
I’ve witnessed many parents arguing at the reception, and the poor boy there just keeps escalating the issue — only for the management to ignore it completely.
On 16th Feb 2025, I dropped an email outlining the issue. I got a reply promising that they’d extend my membership and fix the heating problem. As of 1st April, nothing was done. After raising a complaint on their app, someone named Andrew called me and assured me everything would be fixed in two days, and that he’d call back. Surprise — no call, no resolution. I followed up again on 8th April, and he just said the system is fixed and “we’ll talk about the extension later.”
Meanwhile, my child kept falling sick regularly — and even the coaches themselves were often unwell due to the water temperature! Now I have 23 classes left, and only 18 days of validity left. What am I supposed to do with that?
If you care about your child’s health, confidence, and love for swimming — please DO NOT enroll your kids here. This place is a total scam with zero accountability. I wish I could give them negative 5 stars on Google, but sadly that’s not possible.
The only good thing about this centre is Coach Gopu (Gowardhan)— he was kind and professional. But even his efforts aren’t enough to save a poorly managed and irresponsible facility.
This is a genuine review from a concerned parent. GameTheory Bagalur has completely destroyed my daughter’s interest and confidence in swimming. Don’t fall for their...
Read moreEscalation – Request to Pause and Extend My Baby’s Swimming Plan Due to Medical Condition
Hi Game Theory Team
I am writing to formally escalate an unresolved issue regarding my 3-year-old daughter’s swimming plan at Game Theory Bangalore – Dcube Bagalur branch.
My daughter has been diagnosed with a chronic cough and respiratory infection, and her doctor has strictly advised against swimming until February 2026. I have already shared the doctor’s medical documents with your support team as proof of her condition.
Our plan consists of 48 swimming classes, out of which 40 classes remain unused, with the plan set to expire in December 2025. Considering the medical restriction, I am requesting a temporary pause on the plan until February 2026 and to reactivate it from March 2026 to July 2026.
Despite several requests via the Game Theory app support chat, I have not received a satisfactory response. The assigned support agent, Parvvi, mentioned that I would need to pay ₹1500 to pause the plan, which I find unreasonable given this is a genuine medical situation. She also mentioned she would discuss the matter with the backend team but never got back with a resolution. Since then, no one has responded to my follow-ups.
We are not from Bangalore and do not have anyone to transfer the plan to, so that option is not feasible for us. I have paid the full amount for the 48 classes, and my only request is to pause and extend the remaining classes due to health-related reasons that are beyond our control.
I believe that Game Theory, as a reputed organization, will consider this situation compassionately and provide a one-time exception to pause and extend the plan validity until July 2026.
I sincerely hope this matter receives your immediate attention and is resolved at the earliest.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

Read moreI go to Game Theory Bagalur D Club Sport almost every weekend to play badminton. The overall setup is really good—they’ve got indoor badminton, cricket, tennis, swimming, football, and even a gym.
There are 3 synthetic courts (okay with regular sports shoes) and 5 wooden courts where only non-marking shoes are allowed. I usually play on the wooden ones—they feel better and more professional.
One small issue is the ventilation. After 2–3 games, it starts getting quite stuffy. The air vents are high up and don’t circulate air properly, so it can get a bit uncomfortable during longer sessions.
They also have proper parking space for both 4-wheelers and 2-wheelers, which is super convenient. Plus, there are separate, well-maintained washrooms and shower rooms available for players.
Booking is easy—you can use their official Game Theory app or even book via WhatsApp, which makes the process pretty flexible.
Overall, it’s a great place for weekend sports. The staff is friendly, and the courts are generally well-maintained. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into regular...
