I visited Ganesh Upahar in Hoskote recently, and overall, the experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the expectations we had before visiting.
Starting with the positives, the parking facility is decent, which made it convenient to access the hotel even during a busy time. The system is self-service, which is fine if managed well, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.
The ambience of the hotel did not live up to expectations. The seating area felt cramped and not very well-maintained. The tables weren’t clean, and the atmosphere didn't feel welcoming or hygienic.
I ordered the regular meals, but the food quality was not at all up to the mark. The sambar lacked flavor, the rice was overcooked, and the overall presentation of the food seemed rushed and careless. To make matters worse, hygiene was a serious concern. The place wasn’t clean — there were multiple houseflies around, and shockingly, a housefly actually fell into the sambar that was served to me. That completely ruined the meal experience and raised serious questions about the cleanliness and food safety standards of the hotel.
Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations from any food outlet, and unfortunately, this was severely lacking here. Even though the staff seemed busy, there was no visible effort being made to maintain hygiene in the dining area or around the food counters.
Overall, while Ganesh Upahar has the potential to serve as a decent quick-stop place due to its location and parking, the poor food quality, lack of cleanliness, and subpar ambience make it hard to recommend. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and works on improving hygiene and overall...

The lack of cleanliness greatly impacted my visit, and considering the high cost, I expected better standards. I hope the hotel takes steps to improve their hygiene practices and pricing to provide a more pleasant experience for...
