went to the vijayanager hotel when it was newly opened last year, for breakfast, it was so so ,. nothing to go back again and again,

wanted to try the lunch offerings, got a chance at their manasi nagar outlet. it was nearing 3 noon, got a place to sit after a few minutes wait.

as travellers first go to the washrooms , i too rushed in. badly maintained, the sink tap was not working, when i complained that the hotel being on the highway, the need is to provide clean washrooms, but no one seemed to bother about it.

ordered lunch south indian , told that the curry and sweet were getting ready, so had to wait for 15 mins. service is slow bcz they have to get it from the groundfloor, poor staff have to walk up and down many times, so we asked extra sambar , rasam, and wondered y the delay. so if u need anything extra do order at once, to avoid delay and extra work for the staff.

cmg to lunch, the pooris were overfried, curry was good, sambar, rasam good, pineapple kesaribath was hot and very tasty, filling lunch. the hall was very stuffy, poor ventilation, AC was not working, summer is yet to start and this condition will not help.

Stopped here to have an early morning breakfast looking at the good reviews but was a very Disappointing experience. We ordered idli, Vada, masala dose, onion dose and coffee and not one thing was even close to decent. The idli was hard, vade was pathetic. Though we came in early in the morning, the vade had a slightly sour taste. The onion dose was not roasted well with all raw onions. The dose batter had absolutely no fermentation. Nothing to talk about the chutney and sambhar either. We thought we would find some respite with the coffee atleast, but it was probably the worst. Super watery and tasteless filter coffee. To top it off was the price, very expensive for Mysore rates that too for such bad tasting food. To talk about the service, we went for self service so no expectations and there are only 4 tables. All tables were full and people didn't get up even if they were simply sitting without eating or drinking anything and no attempt was made by the staff to clear the tables! We can find some excellent restaurants in Mysore for much lower prices. If you are looking for places on the highway, then would suggest stopping on the Blr-Msr highway for better food and service despite...

Service.,., One guy came n took orders from us .,., we were waiting for food and almost it's Been 45 minutes, and yet we didn't get the food. People who came after us they had their food n gone but we were waiting n waiting.. so when we asked, they said sorry sir ur order is not placed, order again like that. So after ordering again we waited for 25minutes, later we got our food.

Food...,. Food was also not so tasty and too pricey.,. I mean to say it was not worth of that price.,. We ordered Veg fried rice, Palak rice, Veg biryani, veg pulao, paneer Manchurian, and masala papad,

In these items except panner Manchurian all other food was not tasty it was like tasteless like they didn't even use a salt also .,.,.
