My visit to Hotel Dhruvathare 2 was extremely disappointing due to the untrained staff and poor management. The staff seemed clueless and struggled to recall the food order correctly. I had ordered Mushroom Biryani, Paneer Fried Rice, Paneer Tikka, 2/4 Soda, and a Water Bottle — but instead, I received Paneer Biryani in place of fried rice, and Mushroom Biryani was completely missed. The Paneer Tikka was served without chutney, and for the water bottle, we had to wait for 10 minutes, only to be told later that we hadn’t even ordered it — which was completely false.

To add to this, we reached the hotel around 10 PM, and rather than welcoming guests, the staff rudely instructed us to order food immediately since the kitchen was about to close. There was no proper communication or courtesy, and worst of all, they informed us that South Indian dishes were over by 9:30 PM. This shows a complete lack of planning and hospitality.

The attitude of the staff was unacceptable, and the pricing is extremely high for the kind of service and food quality offered. It’s unfortunate to see such a poorly run place charging premium prices — this is not affordable for ordinary people, and it feels like customers are being taken for granted.

To the management and the owner: Having two hotel branches means nothing if the service and values are missing. You might have built these hotels with flashy appearances, but looting customers with poor food and high prices will not go unnoticed. You will definitely pay for this kind of service someday.

For fellow travelers, I strongly recommend Hotel Harsha Grand, Vaishali, Mayura, or Swathi — far better food, responsive staff, and reasonable pricing.

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Not...

What an amazing quick on a long journey! We decided to take a break for breakfast at this place while on our way to Sakleshpur and Dharmashala, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and hygiene maintained throughout the restaurant. The place was very neat, with well-maintained washrooms, which is always a big plus when you're traveling. It’s also a great spot for families, as there’s a spacious dining area both inside and outside, giving you plenty of seating options. For those with kids, the play area is a real bonus, keeping them entertained while you enjoy your meal.

Now, let’s talk about the food – it was absolutely delicious! The combination of butter masala Dosa with sweetened coconut was mouthwatering, and the puri with sagu was so good, it was hard to stop eating. The North Indian thali was full of flavor, and the Thatte idly, served hot and soft, was just as good. If you’re someone who loves authentic, flavorful vegetarian food, this place is definitely a must-try.

Another convenient feature was the ample parking space, which can easily accommodate a large number of vehicles. Overall, it was the perfect break during our journey, offering tasty food, a comfortable environment, and great facilities. Highly recommended for anyone traveling...

We stopped at Dhruvathare, located conveniently on NH75 towards Hassan from Nelamangala, for breakfast during our recent road trip. The first thing we noticed was the impressive ambience of the place. The restaurant is very neat, well-maintained, and spacious, providing a calm environment for travellers looking to take a comfortable break. Even the washrooms were exceptionally clean and well-kept, which is often hard to find on highway routes, making it a dependable stop for families and elderly travellers.

We ordered a plate of idly, puri sabji, and an onion dosa. All the items were freshly prepared and served hot, and the taste was good, with soft idlis and crispy dosa, and the puri sabji was flavourful as well. However, considering the portion sizes and taste, we felt the pricing could have been a bit more reasonable, as it felt slightly on the higher side for a highway breakfast stop. One of the big advantages of Dhruvathare is the ample parking space available, allowing multiple cars and mini buses to park comfortably without any hassle. Overall, it is a great option if you value cleanliness, decent food, and a peaceful environment for a quick breakfast or tea break on the Hassan highway route. Would recommend it for a refreshing stop on...
