This 41 year old hotel was on the list to be visited for a quite long time. It was our regular joint for Breakfast before the Kunigal Bye-Pass was done. Made a point to visit for breakfast on the way to Hassan, took the service road from NH-75 & reached the hotel to find it renovated & looking brand new.
It was crowded as usual but service was super quick. Ordered for Idly Sambar Dip, Uddina Vada, Khara Bath, Masala Dosa, Filter Coffee. Taste & flavour of the dishes have remained unchanged even after many years. All tasted unique to the hotel name for which it's famous with the locals & also foodies. Pricing has remained as humble it can be with the generous portion size. North Indian & Chinese dishes have made way to the kitchen & are available from noon till night.
Even with such a large number of foot falls, the tables & floor area with hand wash space was very clean & hygiene. With our observation, could find house keeping staff periodically cleaning all the areas to keep the hotel clean & tidy.

Extremely overrated and cashier/owner needs to be more courteous in his approach. Hardly talks to any questions. Anyways who cares as long as he is minting money in the name of old legacy.
Over to the food. Benne Masala dose lacked salt and chutney was bland Rava idly was too thick and dry Bonda soup was good although it could have been better Coffee is a disaster, to watery and sugary.
Positives Quick service Hotel although is very crowded, it's kept clean Strictly 0 parking and...
