I'm so excited to share this little-known gem with you. Sai Fish Land is a small restaurant in Udupi that serves up some of the best fish I've ever had. The fish is fresh and cooked to perfection, and the prices are very reasonable.

I highly recommend trying the anjal coconut fry. It's a unique dish that you won't find anywhere else. The fish is coated in a coconut batter and fried to golden perfection. It's so delicious, you'll want to lick your plate clean.

If you're looking for something a little more traditional, try the prawns ghee roast. The prawns are cooked in a rich and flavorful ghee gravy. They're so tender and juicy, you'll want to order seconds.

And no meal at Sai Fish Land would be complete without a goli soda. This refreshing drink is made with soda water, jaggery, and spices. It's the perfect way to wash down your meal.

The only downside to Sai Fish Land is that the place is small and can get quite hot. But if you're willing to put up with those minor inconveniences, I'm sure you'll have a great time at this hidden gem.

I can't wait to go back to Sai Fish Land and try more of their delicious fish dishes. If you're in Udupi, be sure to...

Hands down the King of Seafood in Udupi. Generally, the trend in Udupi is that when someone wants seafood, Thimmappa Hotel is highly recommended by most seafood lovers. That's because it's "trendy" to recommend it and people don't realize that it's highly overrated. It's because they aren't aware of a place like Hotel Sai Fish Land and the taste of the seafood served here.

I'm not a huge fan of seafood generally but this was the first place where I was impressed by the seafood dishes. The portion sizes are large, prices are affordable and the quality is unreal. Perfect dose of masala and cooking that no other fish meals hotel has been able to match in Udupi.

However, an important point to note, if you are going to Sai Fish Land for food, just go for the seafood. Chicken dishes weren't up to the mark. They were average at best. But when it comes to fish meals, Hotel Sai Fish Land is the underrated King in Udupi.

Next time if you are looking for a place to try sea food in Udupi, visit Hotel Sai Fish Land and you will definitely forget all the other seafood...

If you are a sea food lover, then this place is definitely for you. We stopped here while returning from St. Mary's island and Malpe fish market. Seeing the small size of the ambience, I was thinking whether it was a mistake to stop here. But, all that thinking changed once the food was served. Wow....., I am a seafood lover, and I would say that of all the seafood I've had all my life, this restaurant had the best. I would anytime recommend this place to everyone who passes here and would revisit many more times whenever I'm nearby. All seafood is made in Desi ghee and is well marinated and preparation is just superb. Seafood is never good if it is overcooked. But, here every dish we had was cooked to perfection. We had fried prawns, squid, and sardines..... Yummmmmm. We had their fish curry rice plate and the fried items @β‚Ή1200 for 5 persons. That would be approx β‚Ή250 per person....... Its very...

This one gets out of out and one of the best ever place where I tried seafood. Even though this does not have a five star setup, in terms of food and taste it outperforms any other hotel in Udupi or Mangalore. Since they are known for sea food we started of with their crab Ghee Roast which was crazily good, it was served hot and the crab itself was huge and quantity was excellent. With the Malaya that was left even beer dosa was tasting good with it. Next was king fish tawa fry which blow our mind as it was so fresh, well cooked and spice level was on the dot like how we want and with a squeeze of lime it was πŸ‘Œ. Next was prawn sukka which was good and we missed to ask to spice it up but it was good other wise too. We also tried their ood dosa which was excellent. All in all a must visit place someone who loves good food and all of these are at a reasonable price.

This place deserves a 5 rating for food. I have eaten seafood and fish meals at several places across the country and this by far has the freshest of fish/seafood, which makes their preparations stand apart. This place has excellent food for fish lovers. The pan fried king fish is amazing, followed by cashew ghee roast prawns and masala fry bondas i.e. squids. Gulp it down with some goti soda. The ambience is nothing to write about, but one can discount that in comparision to the quality of food. Also the prices are humble and affordable, the quantities are magnanimous and the serving staff is cheerful. All in all, a good experience at Udupi. Timing is 11 am to 10 pm. All day dining

Sai Fish Land Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience in a Desi style ambiance. Known for serving authentic Mangalore cuisine, this restaurant truly captures the essence of the region's flavors. We had the pleasure of trying their signature dishes such as the king fish coconut fry, ghee crab fry, and prawn masala, and they were all outstanding. Each bite was a mouthwatering experience, leaving us craving for more. For anyone looking to indulge in a culinary journey of Mangalorean delights, Sai Fish Land is a must-visit restaurant.
