Location The thing you notice, when you enter the gates of Kubera Bar & Restaurant is the sheer size of the place. It is huge with lots of greenry all around.

First time I went, had a feeling we have reached a resort, I never expected a Restaurant. Since Kubera is located on a sprawling open space, just on the edge of Hebri Town with a beautiful atmosphere, surrounded by greenery, hills and a cool climate it looks like a Resort anyone the first time.

Even the building which houses the Restaurant is built elegantly, modeled on old Indian architecture style. It is kind of Restaurant where you can go, sit, drink and relax with friends & family.

Ambience You will be impressed by the look & feel of Kubera Bar & Restaurant. It is a huge place modeled like a house, built in the style of old houses, using Mangalore tiles, of coastal Karnataka.

There an open sitting area on all three sides, where there are numerous tables with chairs. Inside there are cabins. Sitting out is more fun than inside.

Service Service was fast all the time I went, most of the visits were on weekdays. Maybe it is crowded in weekends.

The waiters are courteous and nice.

Food Quality Food taste and quality is good, one of the best I have tasted among the Bar’s & Restaurtant in Udupi District.

I've uploaded new photos of this renovated place, which is one of the best and biggest bar restaurants. Don't worry, they have separate AC cabins for families, and garden cabins are also available. Since it's summer, you may prefer to sit in an AC cabin, but note that there are only two ACs in that cabin. We complained that the AC wasn't sufficient for the room, as eating hot food can make you sweat.

For food, we ordered finger chicken, lemon chicken, chicken tikka, malai tikka, butter chicken, butter naan, and biryani. I personally liked the finger chicken, but their biryani was different from usual and not my favorite. The butter chicken texture was just okay.

I recommend trying their ghee roast, neer dosa, chicken sukka, and fish items if you're not from around here. Overall, the place is clean, spacious, and value for money....

Our savior for the day! After long stretch driving when our body demanded some rest and food we rested here. Constructed at a open place has both indoor and outdoor seatings. We preferred indoor and ac. Place was almost crowded. Well maintained place with decent ambience. Vast parking space. Service was very quick. Drinks are available. When it comes to food. Food was good above average but the disappointing thing was first set of order was delivered when the second set was told they repeated the same dish and on demanding the dish we ordered the waiter said 'even this is good'!! Now this is more annoying then cancelling the order. We order what we want if that isn't available say no instead getting stuffs of your choice isn't good sign of manners. Apart from this the lunching was fun. Seats were comfortable....
