We stumbled upon Paakashala at Sira thanks to the Zeon fast chargers located right next to it during our return trip to Bengaluru — and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be!
Though we stopped just to charge the vehicle, the restaurant was bustling with activity, and it quickly became clear why. The food here is fresh, flavorful, and made to order, which gives every dish a richness and homely feel that’s hard to beat on highway pit stops.
We tried the Curd Vada, Puri Masala, and Pudi Idli, and each one was lip-smacking good. The flavors were authentic and satisfying — the kind of comfort food you hope to find on a long journey.
There are two seating options: • Self-service outdoor seating, perfect if you’re in a rush or just want a quick bite while monitoring your EV charging. • Indoor seating with full service, where the staff is prompt, courteous, and well-trained, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience.
What Stood Out:
✅ Freshly made food with rich taste ✅ Prompt and polite service staff ✅ Outdoor and indoor seating options ✅ Clean and efficient setup ✅ Right next to Zeon EV charging station – perfect for pit stops
Final Verdict: Paakashala at Sira isn’t just a food break — it’s a must-visit pit stop that fuels both you and your EV. Highly recommended for anyone traveling the highway looking for good vegetarian food and a seamless charging-dining experience. Will definitely...
Read moreThere punchline should be Welcome to house of HOUSEFLIES. Worst branded resturant with HOUSEFLIES. We always visit this restaurant, but every time the same issue. They are least bothered to keep it hygiene. They have kept machines for HOUSEFLIES to die but looks like it is of no use. When I visited in the month of MAY, they told us that it was mango season so many flies!!!, but when I visited again this month which is not a mango season even HOUSEFLIES exists. They are giving poor answers. They will use a mosquito bat for a few mins which is not a solution as the doors would be opened multiple times. Many restaurants exist without HOUSEFLIES!! It will sit on the plates, the spoons which are kept already on the table(we can't wash and eat it every time), it will sit on the meals plates which they keep ready with side dishes near the counter, they sit on the ketchup which we take ketchup on the same side. Food Prices are so high and at the same time they should maintain the room. The manager and cash counter workers face has no reaction. Take the bat that's the solution for them. We should spend time with the family or busy sending HOUSEFLIES away!! I have attached the photo with housefly and the team will just reply here with the apology and won't...
Read moreI recently visited Pakashala Hotel near Sira, which is conveniently located on the highway. It is a very good place for families to stop during their travel. The hotel has a clean and welcoming atmosphere, which immediately gives a positive impression. The seating arrangement is spacious and comfortable, making it suitable for both small and large groups.
One of the things I appreciated the most was the way the staff served food. They were polite, attentive, and ensured that everything was provided on time. The food was served in a very neat and hygienic manner, which is very important for travelers, especially families with kids. The taste of the dishes was really good, and the quality of ingredients used felt fresh.
The hotel also maintains good cleanliness standards, not just in the dining area but also in the washrooms, which is often a concern when traveling on highways. This adds to the comfort of stopping here during long journeys.
The only point I would mention is that the food is slightly expensive compared to regular highway hotels. However, considering the cleanliness, hygiene, quality of food, and family-friendly environment, the price is reasonable. Overall, it is a nice place to take a break and enjoy a good meal...
