A Flavorful Stop on the Highway Pakashala Delivers Authentic South Indian Breakfast Pakashala, conveniently located on the highway, offers a welcome respite for travelers and locals alike, boasting a menu that spans authentic South Indian breakfast and lunch, alongside North Indian and Chinese dishes. Our visit, around 8:30 AM, focused on their breakfast offerings, and largely, it was a delightful experience. We started with the classic Idly & Vada Sambar Dip, and were pleased with the taste. Both the idlis and vadas were well-prepared, and the sambar had a comforting, authentic flavor that paired perfectly. This is definitely a reliable choice for those craving traditional South Indian comfort food. Next, we ventured to try the Appam, which unfortunately proved to be the weak link in our meal. While appam is typically known for its soft, fluffy center and slightly crisp edges, Pakashala's rendition was quite dry and notably sticky at the bottom. This detracted from the expected texture and enjoyment of the dish, making it one we'd advise skipping on future visits. However, the highlight of our breakfast spread was undoubtedly the Masala Dosa. It was prepared to perfection – wonderfully crisp at the edges, providing a satisfying crunch, and beautifully soft in the center, characteristic of a well-made dosa. The potato masala filling was flavorful and complemented the dosa impeccably. This dish alone makes a strong case for a return visit. To round off our meal, we enjoyed a cup of coffee, which was spot on. It had the perfect balance of strength and sweetness, making it a fitting conclusion to a predominantly satisfying breakfast. In conclusion, Pakashala is a commendable spot, especially for those seeking an authentic South Indian breakfast experience on the highway. While the appam was a miss, the delicious Idly & Vada Sambar Dip, the perfectly crafted Masala Dosa, and excellent coffee more than made up for it. We will definitely recommend Pakashala to anyone looking to enjoy a hearty and authentic South Indian breakfast. We look forward to trying their lunch options and exploring more of their menu on our next trip.

A couple of days ago, I had been to @restaurant.paakashala’s new outlet at #yediur on Bangalore- Mangalore Highway Road(NH-75) and totally fell in love with the experience- from food to service to ambience. Probably, one of the best places for breakfast, lunch, snacks & dinner! "Hygiene & Authentic Taste" is their moto! Mr. Vasudeva Adiga, the tycoon of Food Industry, has taken care of each and everything on what a costumer wants, from his 35years of experience! They have hired the best chefs from across the country for South Indian and North Indian cuisines, Chats & Pan Asain Dishes. I personally loved the Pav Bhaji, which is my all time favourite! The chef who used to prepare Pav Bhaji at Paakashala- JP Nagar outlet which was my favourite is now at the new outlet, so don’t miss the Pav Bhaji if you pay a visit in the evenings! Summing up, it is one of the best restaurant on that Highway that would make a great pit stop that has ample car parking space, good service and people friendly staff. Do visit them and let me know your experience. Here are my "Do not miss" suggestions: South Indian : Idly, Vade, khara Bath, Kesri Bath, Masal dose Chats : Pav Bhaji North Indian: They have their own set of Authentic Traditional Main Courses.

Paakashala is very neat and decent hotel near Yediyur (Bangalore-Mangalore Highway). This hotel has many branches in Bangalore and in major highways. This hotel is around 90 KM from Bangalore towards Hassan. Food Quality: 9 out of 10 Parking: Free and Ample Ambience: Neat and Good Service: Good We get best quality food for economical prices. Must Try: Filter Coffee: Amazing and Excellent. It will cost 30 rupees for tasteful filter coffee. Magic is there with Paakashala filter coffee. Menthe Bath: Amazing and Excellent. It will cost 70 rupees for mouthwatering Menthe bath. Definitely the chef must be from heaven. They put Menthe Soppu and Avarekai into this dish. It is as good as homemade remembering food. Idli dipped in Sambar: Amazing and Excellent. By seeing the Idli dipped in Sambar, Mouthwatering is for sure. Sambar is excellent and very tasty. It is a Must try. Remember: Paakashala means Filter Coffee, Menthe Bath and Idli Sambar. In next visit, I will try their other dishes and write the review about it. Hotel Manager Mr. Ravi Poojari, himself available and look after every guest coming into his hotel. It is must visit hotel to have fragrance of filter coffee and Menthe Bath. We had great experience at Paakashala.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Paakashala, a fantastic vegetarian restaurant located in Yediur on Hasan Highway. The experience was truly exceptional, with outstanding food, impeccable service, and excellent convenience.

Outstanding Food

The menu at Paakashala boasts a diverse range of delicious options, including South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisine ¹. I was particularly impressed with the authentic flavors and bold spices used in their dishes, which transported me to the vibrant heart of India. Standout dishes included the flavorful masala dosa, aromatic paneer butter masala, and succulent gobi manchurian.

Impeccable Service

The service at Paakashala was attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff were welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations and answering questions with a smile ². The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a modern decor that added to the overall ambiance.

Convenient Location

Conveniently situated on Hasan Highway, Paakashala is easily accessible by car or public transportation ¹. The restaurant is well-maintained, with ample parking and clean washrooms.

Overall Experience

Overall, my experience at Paakashala was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and convenient location made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend Paakashala to anyone seeking a top-notch vegetarian meal in...
