PLEASE LEARN TO MAKE ALOO GOBHI MASALA..YOU ARE MAKING WRONG RECIPE FROM 20 YEARS*

To the Owner of Priyadarshini Veg ;

Dear Sir/Madam,

It was my birthday today and I thought to treat myself some good food. So I reached your restaurant and ordered Bhatoora, Dal tadka, steamed rice and Alu Gobha masala. All items were parceled. I reached home and instead of Alu Gobhi Masala I found some gravy with few vegtables (it was a kind of mix veg and certainly not alu gobhi masala) I drove back to your restaurant and reached to reception. The guy at the reception saw the gravy and was not able to identify what dish it was and asked me to show this to the shefs. I reached at shef counter. They took 5 mins to discuss and convince themselves that it was Alu Gobhi masala since they found one small piece of Alu and one small piece of Gobhi...rest all was gravy. Then they tried to convince me that it was Alu Gobhi masala. I tried explaining them that in Alu Gobhi masala howcome gravy is included and that too it doesn't have Alu and Gobhi ( could you believe one small piece of Alu and one tiny dissolved piece of Gobhi..it took some time to discuss among themselves what they had prepeared😅😅...(I understand its all same gravy which is used)

Then confidently one guy in cook counter told that in this restaurant Alu Gobhi masala is made like this and they are making some recipe from 20 years.

I showed them on Google various images of the Alu Gobhi masala how it looks like..but I really appreciate the unity and overconfidence of your entire staff who agreed that this dish is Alu Gobhi Masala🤣🤣

Since I was very polite, still one guy in cook counter tried behaving rudly but understanding their frustration I was all calm and smiling.

I went back to the counter and gifted the counter receptionist your Alu Gobhi Masala on my Birthday. Also letting him know that I would never be visiting this restaurant again.

Let's assume for a second that it was Alu Gobhi masala - in that case why it took 5 mins for them investigating that it was Alu Gobhi Masala. The whole struggle was about finding that one piece of Alu and one piece of Gobhi in that 180 rs item.

Now please go through the internet and see how Alu Gobhi Masala looks like..its a dry dish with lots of Gobhi and Alu in dry mode..

I have posted here what was served to me as Alu Gobhi Masala and I don't have hard feelings for you, but please correct the mistake which has been continued from past 20 years. Believe me, mistakes happens. Even it took me 20 years to figure out that smoothie and shake are different...

My request to you..either remove this dish from the menu or get the...

It's a darshini type of food outlet which serves quick vegetarian food. They are part of a chain of outlets all over east Bangalore.

This one at Sarjapura has been recently renovated. Post renovation, it looks completely brand new with nice seatings and more elegant look. They now have a separate air conditioned service hall. They still continue to have the self service space/model so that we can pay and place the order quickly and collect the food ourselves. Overall, a good decent place to have a quick bite with your family that has decent parking space which is also pocket friendly.

Food: The menu is quite extensive and has the typical vegetarian options - Indian(both South and North), Chinese( Manchurians, Fried rice, noodles etc.,) and Juices & beverages(coffee, tea etc.,). Food is decent for the price if not so great and you get them hot and fresh.

The best part for me at least is that they do have Pooris(normal ones and Chola Battura) even during the lunch time ( normal Pooris were not available for dinner) - this is helpful for me as my kids are poori lovers.

Ambience: As mentioned, it's newly renovated and is refreshing for a darshini type of restaurant. The new service hall(which is for ordering alone)is good as well and can accommodate almost approx 80 folks - mostly 4 seater tables and a couple of 2 seater tables as well. They have a open kitchen in the self serve area.

Parking: It's part of an overall complex and so shares the road space in front of the building with other shops ( Bank, Lenskart). We should be able to find a spot for our car near the restaurant and even if not find some space ahead of the building as the roads are...

Horrible, I don't have any other words to describe them. Had couple of instances

1. ordered panner tikka they gave panneer manchurian and they told it's paneer tikka that they called. They did not bother to take it back and compensate with some thing else. I have to fight for 30min with them
2. ordered for 260 rs but I was charged 280. By the time I noticed this my wife gave the bills in different counters to collect food as it was self service. When I questioned about the extra amount, he asked me to get bills and show him. I showed him the food on the table we took and he was not ready to beleive me and repeatedly asking for bills. I had to leave food go to each counter to get the bill. When I showed him the bill it was only 260 and he started telling there should be one more item. I beleive these guys are serious doing fraud and looting people. I paid through card and I asked for receipt, they were not able to provide me. Manager was not available, I had to talk to him over phone explaining everything. They don't have courtesy to ask sorry to me. All these things took me more than 1.5hrs.. literally I had to fight with these guys everytime going with wife two kids less then 4 years.

They asked me to come in morning to collect receipt. I went still they did not provide and later it was sent over whatsapp. We go to some place to have some good time this is atrocious. They did not return 20rs also. I never been to this kind of place earlier.

Please check yours bills properly,also get what you ordered else through on their face
