RIP cafe is a night riders cafe and is in the same route as that of Rasta Cafe. Visit to this place was completely unplanned as our experience at Rasta cafe turned out to be complete disaster. We reached at this place around 2:30 in the morning and it was not that crowded and we opted for the outdoor seating. We only had drinks and Hookah as we had a late night dinner. The drinks was not at all good in fact, it was below average.
What we ordered : Strawberry Milkshake (Rs 110), 2 Chocolate Milkshake (Rs 240), Hot chocolate (Rs 120) and Flavored Hookah (Rs 750). Total bill was Rs 1359 which includes a Service Charge of 5% and VAT 4%.
Every single drink lacked the most important ingredient that is, Milk. The milkshakes were terrible and it was just like they had put cream and strawberry/chocolate instant mix on top of plain water. I had expectation on hot chocolate as it was delivered bit late but, it was the same experience. They managed to make a 'leaf' design on top of coffee before serving. They have a very limited menu and I know it is not right to comment without trying the other food items but still, considering how 'delicious' the drinks were I am sure the food will also be 'great'. Please read the other reviews and you will get a clear picture of what I am talking about. The hookah was worth for what we paid and you get to choose how strong you want it to be served. Since we were beginners we opted for 'Mild' one and it was a great experience. Go for the Green Apple Flavored Hookah which is ordered by the most and it is really nice.
The RIP cafe is a small place but the outdoor seating was really good. They have two dogs which they have put in a gated compound nearby. I loved the St. Bernard they have and it was so cute (I will get one of those soon). The staff was extremely well behaved and friendly. The indoor seating was not that comfortable, it seems. There was music playing inside and some guys were dancing to the beat. The restroom was not that clean.
As of now, for most, RIP Cafe is more like a back up plan if cafes like Rasta is jam-packed. To the management, your biggest down side is the quality of food. The drinks you served was like the coffee I make at home when I run out of milk-powder and I am sure I can make better coffee than you guys do. So, get a good chef, include more varieties in the menu and once you make your food taste better, rest will fall in place...
Read moreWorst place to think at night I think even in day with any sort of expectations here. No respect to guests who visits here. All non Kannadigas so very much difficult for local crowd. They follow fake reservation system though they have no signal guest coming they say it's reserved and on request they act as if we are sitting there as beggars no respect for customers words. Food? just forget it. it's worst food quality and tastes so so bad that you might just poo in pants for your wrong decision to visit here and unhygienicly cooked food with dirty north east Chefs. The vibe is bit OK. nothing that special where I can say this is good that good. it just led lights and worst condition Sofas. Mostly this place is empty all night and day hope it gets closed soon and some better cafe comes here. Rude behavior of staffs is common here so don't be surprised. that attitude what staff haves hope you don't lose patience and blast them out so stay calm when you deal with use less staff.
OK now let's come to the main point Ik some people will say I can bare this but what about pricing? Man pricing sersly for what? this worst quality foods and service needs to be payed? yes man in reality it must be paid but how much? man you need to pay a lot for not worth food and service. a shake of worst quality is 399/- starter in veg is 250/- Non veg is 600 rest is history.
If you visit here do carry some good flavor of hooka so that you don't get disappointed. rest is...
Read moreThis place (rip cafe, Mysore Road) is another cafe which has been opened on Mysore Road very near to wonderla, for late night eateries and rides. It is newly opened so the crowd is less but yes according to me i found it better than rasta in terms of ambiance, service and food.
First when you enter the place you will notice the cafe is themed in taking riders point of view, basically for riders. Riders in peace is the name and really a very nice place for drives. They have indoor sitting as well as outdoor.
Ambiance has bike tires and everything for riders, music is super cool very nice atmosphere. They have all sorts of hukka with very attentive staff as well.
Coming to the food they have all snacks , pizza, burger, shakes and beverages which a person likes while riding. We ordered veg manchow soup , gobi manchurian and crispy corn. Manchow soup was just awesome, very nicely made and since the weather was cold it just perfectly hot. Gobi manchurian and corn was also nice though corn was a bit salty but the taste and presentation was nice. In drinks we had cold coffee, butterscotch milk shake, hot chocolate and cappuccino. Everything was really nice only the thing is for preparation they take some more time.
Overall a very nice place to be , would definitely...
