I recently had the pleasure of dining at RK's Family Restaurant during the trip from Chennai to Bangalore, and I must say that it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Located on the Bengaluru - Tirupati Highway, RK's offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly lives up to its name as a family-friendly establishment.
As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The decor was tastefully done, with comfortable seating arrangements and charming touches that added to the overall welcoming vibe.
Moving on to the food, RK's truly exceeded my expectations. The menu featured a wide variety of dishes to choose from, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're in the mood for classic comfort food or something more adventurous, RK's has you covered.
I started my meal with their signature appetizer, the chicken Lollipop . It was cooked to perfection, with a delicate reddish coating and tender texture. The accompanying dipping sauce added a burst of flavor that complemented the dish beautifully.
For the main course, I opted for their grilled chicken with lemon butter sauce and chicken biriyani. The grilled chicken was incredibly fresh and flaky, cooked just right to retain its natural juiciness. The lemon butter sauce was light and tangy, enhancing the flavors of the chicken without overpowering it. The dish was served with a side of perfectly cooked vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes, completing a well-rounded and satisfying meal.
One aspect that truly stood out during my dining experience at RK's was the exceptional service. The staff members were attentive, and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a memorable experience. From suggesting menu items to promptly refilling drinks, their attention to detail was commendable.
Another notable highlight was the restaurant's dedication to catering to families. The kids' menu offered a great selection of dishes that were both tasty and nutritious, making it an ideal destination for family outings. The restaurant also provided a comfortable and safe environment for children, with high chairs, coloring activities, a Toy shop, and a play area to keep them entertained.
To top off the delightful meal, I indulged in one of RK's delectable desserts: the gulab jamun. Served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it was the perfect ending to a fantastic dining experience.
In conclusion, RK's Family Restaurant is a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. With its inviting atmosphere, diverse menu, excellent service, and dedication to families, it ticks all the boxes for a remarkable restaurant visit. Whether you're dining with loved ones or looking for a satisfying meal on your own, RK's is a must-visit destination that will leave you...
Read moreWe stopped by RK’s family restaurant for a late lunch while coming back from Kotilingeshwara temple to Bangalore. This restaurant is not hard to find as they start advertising about their establishment on the Kolar highway well in adage through billboards.
We ordered the VEG KADAI, DAL TADKA, MASALA PAPAD, VEG BIRIYANI, GARLIC BUTTER NAAN, PLAIN TANDOORI ROTI, SWEET N SOUR LEMON SODA. The food tasted really well and one could easily make out that it was freshly prepared. The dal wasn’t hot initially but they took it back and re prepared it which was a good sign. Nothing on the ordered menu was sub par. The only challenge one might face would be to handle the spice level of the food. The veg kadai was super spicy and so were the dal and Biriyani. If you’re a fan of spicy food, then you’d love it otherwise the constant jumping from taking a bite to a sipping your drink could ruin your dining experience.
The service was no less than how you would want when you’re starving. Roshan from the serving staff took good care of us and ensured that our dining experience was worth remembering. He kept taking the feedback from us and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure that none of our demands was unanswered. So full marks for the hospitality.
Ambience of the restaurant is like any other average restaurant located on a national highway, nothing posh but catering to the essential needs like having an air conditioner and clean cutlery. The overall compound is very inviting as they’ve got a huge space for parking. They also have a small outlet for quick shopping and a cafe on the first floor if you want to engage in some casual drinking...
Read moreWhile on the way to Bangalore, and return from Bangalore. I used to halt at this place for a quick relax to have some tea/coffe/starters, also used to spend some time here with friends and family as well.
Recently I had a bad experience, I went to this restaurant in the evening around 4:30 on Sunday and asked if Mutton biryani is available. They said yes and after 10 mins they said it's not available and chicken biryani is available. I waited for Almost 15 mins and finally one service person came and said Mutton Biryani is available and it's ready serve. That food was the one which was refused to take by others.
I was clearly seeing all the drama. I politely told him this is not wright. Once you said no MB means no. Then he apologized and brought me the CB which was left for the day and also that was refused to take by other person.
And the food they served was roasted at the surface and was utterly not good. Forget about taste. And I was really disappointed at the end and tried to raise a concern and no one cared about it. I simply paid RS. 600/- change for other starter and ice cream I have taken.
My review ll always be genuine and I don't mean to down their business. Need to improve a lot on quality/dignity standards.
Its not worth visiting this palce. You can go Empire Grand. There the standards are not so great but good. You ll receive quality and tasty food and you...
