Royal Atithya — Restaurant in Karnataka

This place is a little off of Bhatkal junction on National highway. We Decided to stop by at about 11.30 in the morning, looking at high ratings on Google maps.

The place looks elegant and feels about right as a travellers stop by, but boy, we were so wrong.

Nothing except Buns, poori and Sheera/Kesari bath was available. No dosas. Why open a restaurant this big, if you can't keep basic menu items then?

We ordered poori out of lack of choice and they gave us items fried in stale oil! Refer picture. We wanted to cancel, pay for sheera that we had (not good either) and leave. The waiter started blabbering about items not cancellable and agreed to replace the pooris with ones fried in fresh oil.

Replaced pooris were good.

My wife wanted to use the restroom, and to her horror, the wash pipe is non functional, there is no bucket and mug as a replacement either.

This place is well decorated, charges premium for sub-standard food and lacks basic amenities. NOT...

Olive restaurant is now taken over by Citrus group of hotels.... We were a regular customer to Olive... Everything that was the best on the menu is now unavailable and the once that are available are not worth spending a single penny on kinda dishes.. We had the worst time today... Total tasteless dishes, rotten smelly chicken Jojo kebab, soya sauce like tasting chicken Manchow soup... More over when we called the Manager Mr.Hajamadulla to complain about the food quality he simply said "I can not do anything about it,this is what u get here." The restaurant used to be jam packed with customers on weekends but today being a Sunday it hardly had a couple of customers including us... We just had the soup n saw the Jojo Kabab called the manager spoke to him then paid the bill for soup n Kabab( the rotten chicken which we could not even eat) n left n went somewhere else n had our lunch... Please go at ur...

There are numbers of restaurants in town but I believe this is the only place in town with th luxury ambience and seating space.

A pure-veg multucuisines Restuarant which serves morning breakfast, afternoon lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

We visited here during the lunch where we tried their mixed veg platter comprising of mushroom, paneer, babycorn and gobi Manchurian. In the main course their huge South Indian and north Indian Thali along with the lemon soda.

Pricing wise it's on a little heavier side but the quality and experience what you get in it, is definitely value for money.
