It's quite a nice place. The restaurant is situated right after you drive down the Agumbe ghat section. Though the sign board for the restaurant may be misleading , It says 1.2km for the restaurant where the actual distance is more than 2 kmt. Another one says 200mts , and the restaurant is almost after a kilometer from there. I went there on a Saturday evening and it was quite full. There is ample parking and if you are a nature lover, you can go for a quick plantation walk behind the restaurant into the rubber plantation. Food was good, golibaje, marsala dosa , kashaya(herbal coffee) are my favorites here. Considering the location and space, this restaurant can be upgraded to make it better, change those steel chairs with better comfortable furniture's, arrange the tables a bit better else it looks like a very ordinary road...
Read moreThis is one of the best hotels on Shimoga -Udupi highway. It is may be just a year old restaurant and serving pure vegetarian food. What the tourists/travellers require is car parking and clean toilet. Both are available here and toilets are maintained very very clean. For top end customers, there is a separate Airconditioned hall. They serve good food. Food is clean and hygenic. Food is a bit costly. It is understandable. The dining hall is very large and ample place to move around inside and outside. Outside scenery is also good. We had been to this restaurant several times and enjoyed their hospitality. Suppliers are very polite and service is...
Read moreWe were traveling from Karkala to Agumbe.
And in the middle of NO WHERE, we noticed this hotel. It was surrounded by dense Forest. In the foot hills of ever green western ghats.
It was looking nice, beautiful, spacious etc.
There was plenty of parking place, and it was tarred.
The bathrooms were clean.
The dining hall was big, neat and clean.
The floor and walls were done with granite. There was plenty of natural light and air.
The server was polite, and neatly dressed.
We had only Idli + Sambar and Coffee.
The rate was reasonable. The taste was good.
Even the wash basin was neat and clean.
Over all, we are pretty impressed.
I know, it is very difficult to maintain a hotel in such a remote place. But the owner has taken great effort and done a good job.
Keep it up, guys. You...
