Skanda Mess — Restaurant in Karnataka

So we went to skanda mess at 5pm today

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The food was just average, but the service and behavior were extremely poor. Some of the items mentioned in the menu/order were missing, and when we pointed it out, they refused to adjust the bill. Instead of handling it politely, the staff was okay – but the so-called owner – were very rude and unprofessional.

A hotel should value its customers and at least show basic courtesy, but unfortunately, that was completely lacking here. Definitely not worth recommending.

And the owner madam should learn basic manner before entering...

The mess is run by a Brahmin family. We went there for lunch after having darshan at the temple. The food is very tasty. You can ask for a plate meal too. Chapattis are also served. The lady was so accommodative, we saw her specially preparing Poori and serving a child who was resisting to eat rice or chapatti.

There are around 6 tables which can support 20 people eating at one go. Food is served on plantain leaves.

You can place a request with the owner, in advance, if you want to have dinner...
