Sri Mandarathi Udupi Upachar — Restaurant in Karnataka

Udupi Ruchi hotel is located near film City bidadi. I was coming with my family from harohalli to mysore road. We just stopped their by to have our dinner without much expectations. We ordered a full South Indian meals. We had ordered a roti curry also. The food was very very tasty. Dal was superb. Curd had a very good texture and sourness. In one word the Taste is awesome and quality is good. Service is too good. Prices are not too high. It looks like normal restaurant of bangalore but the taste is way better than Bengaluru hotels may be due to quality of rice, pulses and groceries they get as bidadi is outskirt to bangalore. Whenever you are travelling and you are tired and hungry you can come here this is the best place to hang in. Below are the amenities available here. 01) Food is very very tasty. 02) Prices are nominal. 03) Foods are hygenic 04) Four wheeler and two wheeler Parking Facilities Available here.

One small disadvantage is bit crowded all the time. I believe it is due to the taste and services they provide at a nominal rate but still I will rate this as 5 stars as this is authentic south...

Worst service. Food is not at all good and hygienic. A person sitting beside our table found something in chutney and asked waiter silently to change it( that person didn't want to spoil their business) and waiter brought another bowl of chutney. Even after observing this we ordered 2 plates of idli and one madala dosa. Idli was too sour and sambar wasn't good at all. They had served masala dosa along with a bowl of sambar and chutney. While we were in mid of finishing dosa(found dosa lul better than idli), waiter asked us if we will eat chutney or sambar from our plate, we said no we will not. He immediately picked both sambar and chutney.( Maybe to serve someone else, which is pathetic) we were in shock to see that happening.and then I also remembered that I had dipped a piece of dosa in chutney and now he might have served it to someone else( i could be wrong but his actions were not giving positive vibes). If at all he was not serving it to anyone, it's not a way restaurant runs. We pay for it and we have all rights on the food till we finish.

Place was bit crowded as well, i would not visit this place...

Well, all I can say.. It's not good in taste and also with service actually. Prices are too high, less quantity too. It seems owner is concentrating more on profits rather than quality customer service. I have attached the bill, one can have a look. Few days back paneer 65 was around 90rs, all of a sudden now it's 130 With too low quality and quantity.

This restaurant is mainly on the highway road side , the reason why lots of travellers take a break and halt for breakfast lunch dinner.

This offcourse is the main advantage for the restaurant to make huge profits with least quality and service, as there are Only few restaurants on the mysore road which are easily accessible because of the ongoing Highway works carried Most of the people eat here is the main reason

The food is costlier than the Bangalore adigas and other UPACHARS Of Udupi type.
