The elevated bamboo cottage has a balcony and a unique attached jute bed that gives you full on tropical vibes.

They also have regular bamboo cottages and special cottage type villa which can accommodate up to 4 people and more.

The Stay chill villa provides you with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with all the facilities and an attached tub each, and a common area to chill with an amazing view of paddy fields and nearby water body.

The in-house restaurant “The Gravity Cafe” is open air multi-cuisine restaurant and offers you amazing food. The stay is pet friendly and non Alcoholic, so it suits best for guests of all ages.

The Property Owner Mr. Nikhil and the entire staff were very friendly and always helpful throughout the stay.

Small hikes to the private sunset point Walking in the paddy fields Getting couple massages The stay is the heart of North Hampi, so all the nearest attractions like Anjanadri hill, Ranganata swamy temple, Vali caves, Pampasarovar, Sabari Caves and Chintamani Temple complex can be covered with the easy availability of bike rentals and transportation facilities by the locals ( Pawan and Hemanth), Swimming in a private point in Sanapur falls (when the water flow in moderate) Coracle ride (with the rover Shinu) and sunset experience at Sanapur Lake Cliff jumping with life jacket 🦺 Purchasing handmade products made with Banana Fibre by the local women. Location is very good. It gives an experience of a village life with the huts and the paddy fields right next to the huts if that is what you are looking for. Also has a kind of balcony with a view.

In such a setup, you won't have A/C (when asked I was told AC is not a necessity and fan is more than enough), TV, no furniture or cabinets to keep your stuff and one single plug socket for the entire room. No wifi either as they'll say it's available but bandwidth isn't good enough to provide for the customers - strange. These are things to watch out for.

Hot water needs a special mention. It is supplied in buckets - one after the other. If you are someone who needs more than one bucket of hot water for your bath, you may end up trying to convince helpers, who will say they will only give one bucket at a time. This gave a feel of rationing of hot water, though they provided two buckets at a time after having a chat with the owner. I felt one should not be made to ask for such basic amenities with the kind of rate being charged

And if you stay there on weekends, when the place is fully booked, there will be loud music till about 10-10:30 pm and you'll get to sleep only after that. Since the pathway is common for all rooms, you'll feel people are walking right beside you when they walk in front of your room as the huts have very thin doors and bamboo plywood sheets.

There is no complementary breakfast as well. Food provided at cafe seemed bland though the tea was very good.

The place has 4-5 pet dogs which may irritate you if you are not a dog person.

Not at all worth for the rate charged if you are looking for a regular hotel like room. This place is more for the partying types. Ended up booking this place as all other homestays are shut in Hampi right now. The place is also around 25 kms from Hampi and Hoskote is...

Stay Chill!! The name itself describes. With this work from home chaos , we always wanted to get out and enjoy the nature as it is, then came the choice StayChill Hampi. Wow!! This was one of my best decision. Reaching there looking at the ambience , just eye stealing. Green, hills, lake, falls, sunrise,sunset points, blank roads to walk, coracle ride and my most favourite ones was the cottages there. We 4 girls always try to find the best ones in terms of safety too, We were always safe and secured and the hospitality provided there never made us like guests but just as family. The food: I have travelled few parts of the world but the food provided here is my first favorite. They have a big menu and everything from coffee till Big dishes are equally treated and never compromised in terms of taste. Not just to Indian foods you get everything possible. We 4 friends ,still wondering which was our most favourite here because everything we had is still mouth watering.

If you are looking for the best one to go out and relax, my first suggestion would be Stay Chill Hampi. Make some time, relax there in between paddy fields, in the beautiful cottages, enjoy the view from the glass doors !!

The holiday spent here is like my dream yet It was heavy while leaving this place, because this place and hospitality took a space in heart.

My four friends and myself will definitely make it again and again.
