Swad — Restaurant in Karnataka

The restaurant had a pathetic service. I found an insect (wasp) in my food and the waiter didn't care to say sorry. I had come all the way from Bangalore without eating, considering that Swad is a good restaurant. The service of the waiter was not what I expected. We had tried complaining to him about the insect found in my food and he snatched my plate. He had asked me to take another plate and didn't even care that other people were going to eat the same food (I was eating the bouquet). He was sitting in the reception and when I personally went to him, he wouldn't even treat me with respect and didn't say sorry even after that. So we visited here for breakfast. First of all they were forcing us to take buffet breakfast, and when we said no we will go for ala carte, there face turned down. The tea and coffee was not upto the mark, and we had to wait to get sugar separately, by the time it came the tea was cold. And this happened when there was hardly any rush. We ordered butter Mysore masala dosa, but it was just a masala dosab with no butter. When we asked the waiter , he just randomly pointed some dosa and said they are butter dosa. But then one of the manager accepted that the cook forgot to apply butter. When the bill came, they charged for butter masala dosa only, and when I reached to the lady in the counter, she was extremely rude in accepting...

Probably ok for an emergency restroom break or a tea/coffee emergency, otherwise just drive on the next 5-6KM to Mysuru and get something there.

Got taken in by the cool big board they had on the highway. I very much understand why this place has a super low rating and I would like to reiterate that rating.
