One of my favourite hotels in the stretch from Bangalore to Kolar and vice versa!! I remember visiting this place from almost 1.5 years and the best part is, they have improved a lot, a lot I must say over a period of time. I would rate 5/5 for the food quality, presentation, cleanliness, staff behaviour and owner's behaviour. They exactly know how and when to serve a customer.

They are also coming up with Swathi bakes and juice. I'm pretty excited to taste what's in the store once it's operational!

The mouth watering chocolate truffle with ice cream is a must try!! One will never regret trying it.

I have tasted a lot of varities so far and I've liked everything. I would recommend 1)Veg manchow soup - it is exactly the way it needs to be done - crispy dried noodles, proper proportion of soya sauce and amazing taste!! 2)Panneer Chillie - Fresh paneer, less oil and perfect spices used. 3) Butter roti with Mushroom Kadai- Properly chopped mushroom, medium spiced and a great taste. 4) Pomegranate Juice without sugar - Chilled and perfect juice. It's a tummy calmer too! 5) Chocolate truffle cake with ice creams- I was drooling over the dessert.. Infact I repeated the order for the dessert. Filled with dark chocochip and two layers of truffle, covered with dripping truffle and garnished with chocolate. I don't think I can express the feeling I had while eating this desert. It's just perfect!! It's a must try here.

Met these two staffs named Saurabh - very polite guys and always smiling.

My only suggestion - to keep the washroom a little more clean. Otherwise the place is brilliant!!

Kudos...

I never thought I would be rating my favorite place with just 1 star, but it is what it is. I had a terrible experience and couldn't believe how poorly I was treated.

I had ordered pani puri, but the waiter brought masala puri instead. When I told him this wasn't what I ordered, he immediately switched his attitude and started arguing that I had ordered masala puri and that he had double-confirmed it (which was a lie). He even asked me to eat what he had brought, which was absurd. We never eat masala puri, and I know what I usually order. Besides, I'm not new to this place.

The service staff began murmuring amongst themselves, but I chose to ignore it as I didn't want to create a scene. I sarcastically told him that he could include the masala puri's bill as well if he wanted. When the bill arrived, to my surprise, he had indeed included the masala puri and charged me for it, even though we didn't eat it. When I asked him about it, he was extremely rude and said, 'You asked me to add it, right? So, I did.'

Finally, the owner intervened, and she politely listened to the issue and even apologized (she has my respect for that). However, the person responsible for this drama didn't bother to apologize at all.

I'm a biker and used to bring all my buddies here for the coffee (which is very good). But after this incident, this will be my last visit to this place, and the same goes for my entire riding...

Title: Disappointing Experience at Hotel Swathi

I recently visited Hotel Swathi during my travels to Andhra Pradesh, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.

Upon having breakfast with my friends, we encountered an issue with the billing. Initially, we were presented with a bill, and after settling it, the waiter insisted we pay for a water bottle that we had not ordered, and oddly, it wasn't even listed on the bill. This raised concerns as it seemed like an attempt to include an unplanned charge.

Despite explaining that we hadn't ordered the water bottle and it wasn't on the bill, the situation escalated when a manager approached us. The manager's response was not only unprofessional but also rude. The language barrier further complicated matters, with the manager conversing in Kannada while we preferred English.

The manager's refusal to communicate in a language we understood, coupled with his offensive remarks, left a negative impression. Resorting to recording the incident, the manager abruptly changed the topic, insisting on speaking Kannada in Karnataka.

This encounter marred what could have been a pleasant dining experience. The overall attitude and lack of customer service at Hotel Swathi were disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant based on the unfortunate service I...

Located conveniently on the highway, Swati Hotel offers a delightful dining experience for vegetarians. We recently had the pleasure of dining there and were thoroughly impressed by the quality of their offerings. The ambiance of the restaurant is inviting, with ample parking space making it hassle-free to access. It's also an ideal spot for a night drive, with its location adding to the ease of a quick stopover. We sampled their Phulka and Naan paired with a delectable mix vegetable curry, and it surpassed our expectations. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared, highlighting the expertise of the chefs. Moreover, having a Café Coffee Day next door adds to the convenience, making it a one-stop destination for both dining and refreshments. However, it's worth noting that while the experience was exceptional, the pricing may be considered slightly on the higher side. Nonetheless, the quality of food and the overall dining experience make it a worthwhile visit. In conclusion, Swati Hotel offers a perfect blend of delicious vegetarian cuisine, convenient location, and cozy ambiance, making it a recommended choice for those seeking a satisfying dining experience

On our way to Kotilingeshwara Temple, we stopped for breakfast at Swathi Hotel and Cafe. This restaurant has been widely promoted by bloggers and YouTubers, so we decided to check it out and see if it lives up to the hype. Located on the Kolar Highway, the restaurant offers a scenic view and ample parking for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers. The space is large and spacious, with good interiors. We arrived around 10:30 AM, and the place was already packed. However, we managed to get a seat within 5-10 minutes. After checking their menu, we ordered a few items. Here’s what we tried, along with our personal ratings: • Idli (3.5/5): Just average idlis—nothing special. We also felt the price was slightly on the higher side. • Mulbagal Podi Masala Dosa (5/5): Absolutely loved it! The combination of podi and ghee was delicious. • Vada (4.5/5): Crispy and flavorful, it tasted great. • Coffee (1/5): Disappointing. The coffee was overly diluted. The service was quick, and the staff were polite and attentive. Despite a few misses, we enjoyed the experience overall and would definitely visit again.
