The Escape ( Rest O Bar) — Restaurant in Karnataka

I recently dined at Escape and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

Food: The dishes we ordered were disappointing. the portions were small for the price, and the presentation was lackluster.

Service: The service was below par. Unprofessional, We had to wait an unreasonably long time for our food, and our server was inattentive and unfriendly. When we raised our concerns, they were dismissed without any attempt to rectify the situation.

Ambiance: The restaurant's ambiance did not live up to expectations. It was noisy, crowded, and the overall cleanliness was questionable. The tables were sticky, and the restroom was in poor condition.

Value for Money: Given the quality of food and service, the prices were exorbitant. I left feeling that the meal was not worth the money spent.

Overall, I would not recommend this based on my recent visit. There are plenty of better dining options available...

Update from April 27 ,2025. Still worst restaurant and no improvement.

1. Chicken pasta was not having chicken.
2. Took chicken biryani parcel and they gave only rice and not the chicken pieces that were there.
3. They gave wrong bill to us which had other table orders.
4. Waiters don’t even serve food.

Never visiting again.

Location: Not safe at night . saw many people on road sitting drinking and playing cards near this restaurant. I personally Not recommend this if you are not with family.

Coming to food : chicken was very hard and seemed like it was cooked in morning and served at night . Butter garlic prawns was good. Veg starters were hard to chew and biryani was bland and they added salt on it when we complained. Bill was 2k for 4 people and prices are too high with worse taste and quantity.

When I went to the restaurant, the service was extremely slow and the waiter seemed uninterested and unfriendly. When my food finally arrived, it wascold and the portion size was much smaller than expected. When I brought this to the attention of the waiter, he simply shrugged and didn't offer any solution or apology. To make matters worse, the price of the meal was also higher than I anticipatedcold and undercooked. I informed the waiter, who didn't seem to care and just took my plate away without offering to replace the meal. I ended up leaving the restaurant without eating and was extremely disappointed with the experience. I do not plan on ever returning to that...
