A First-Class Culinary Flight
Step aboard one of the most imaginative dining experiences in town—a life-size airplane-themed restaurant that takes gastronomy to new heights. Nestled like a hidden runway in the city, this restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an adventure from takeoff to landing.
Ambience & Design The star of the show is undoubtedly the full-scale airplane replica parked right at the center. From the moment you step through the boarding gate-style entrance, the airport vibes are real. The interior is masterfully designed to mimic an aircraft cabin, complete with plush seating, porthole-style windows, overhead compartments, and even seat belts on the chairs for that authentic in-flight feel.
Flight attendants—err, waitstaff—dressed in airline uniforms guide you to your table with the courtesy you'd expect in business class. Ambient sounds of jet engines and boarding calls play subtly in the background, immersing you further into the experience.
Cuisine The menu is a global journey in itself, offering Arabic, Mughlai, and Continental cuisines. The Arabic section features crowd-pleasers like succulent Shish Tawook, creamy Hummus with Pita, and an aromatic Mandi Rice that transports your taste buds straight to the Middle East.
The Mughlai fare is nothing short of regal. Rich, velvety Butter Chicken, slow-cooked Rogan Josh, and delicately spiced Biryani are paired perfectly with buttery naans and laccha parathas. Each dish is served with a modern twist but stays true to its royal roots.
The Continental options are just as delightful, with perfectly grilled Steaks, creamy Pastas, and refreshing Caesar Salads. Don't miss the signature Airline Platter, a fusion-style sampler that gives a taste of all three cuisines—ideal for the indecisive traveler.
Service & Experience The service is top-tier, with prompt and courteous staff who seem genuinely excited about the concept. Final Verdict Whether you're an aviation geek, a foodie explorer, or just someone looking for an unforgettable night out, this airplane-themed restaurant offers a unique blend of atmosphere and flavor. It's not just a meal; it’s a journey. Buckle up and bring your appetite—this is one flight you won’t...
Read moreWe recently visited Tiger Aero Restaurant on Bannerghatta Road and found the experience truly unique and enjoyable. This aviation-themed restaurant offers a creative dining concept, serving meals inside a life-sized airplane structure, making it a fun destination for families, kids, and anyone looking for something out of the ordinary.
From the moment we entered, the attention to detail was impressive. Guests are welcomed with a boarding pass, and the airplane cabin-style seating adds to the immersive feel. The ambiance is thoughtfully designed, and the setup spans over an acre, offering both four- and six-seater table options with a total capacity of around 120 seats. There’s also a kids’ play area at the ground level, which adds to its family-friendly vibe.
We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything we tried was flavourful and satisfying. Special mention to the Paneer Chilli, Lasooni Methi Paneer, and Prawns Chilli Dry – they were absolutely delicious! The food is prepared at the ground level and carried up to the dining cabin. The pricing is on par with other fine dining restaurants in the city, making it a worthwhile experience given the unique setting.
A unique aspect to note is the entry fee of ₹100 per guest, which is separate from the dining charges. Also interesting is the team behind the scenes – chefs mostly from West Bengal, known for their flavourful cooking, and servers from Arunachal Pradesh, who were warm and welcoming throughout our visit. That said, the service pace could be improved, especially when the restaurant gets busy.
The restaurant is usually crowded on weekends and holidays, which may lead to longer wait times. So, for a more relaxed experience, visiting on a weekday is a good idea.
In summary, Tiger Aero Restaurant stands out for its creative concept, good food, and lively atmosphere. It’s definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking to try...

After reading several online reviews, I visited this place with a lot of excitement, intrigued by its unique flight-themed dining concept. The entry experience, however, was underwhelming—there was an unexpected additional charge of ₹100 per person simply to board the “flight,” which is not even adjusted against the final bill. While the concept and ambience justify some premium, such charges should ideally be adjusted against final bill or should be put in a way that would be intriguing for the customers for satisfaction.
The thematic presentation was certainly the highlight. The staff were dressed as air hostesses and stewards, which added to the immersive experience and gave an authentic airplane feel. Unfortunately, the positives stopped there.
Service was noticeably slow, and the food arrived cold, which significantly impacted the dining experience. The taste was below average and didn’t match the overall build-up created by the ambience. Moreover, the kitchen is located at the ground level and food is carried upstairs upon order. This process seemed to contribute to the delays, and on a more concerning note, we noticed a considerable number of houseflies in the dining area, raising valid questions about hygiene standards.
In summary, while the ambience and concept are creative and unique, the execution—especially in terms of food quality, hygiene, and service speed—needs serious improvement. At this stage, I would not recommend it for the food experience alone, but perhaps for a one-time visit if you're curious about the concept.
