Having recently dined at Udupi Vaibhava during the afternoon, I must express my profound disappointment with the quality of food and cooking standards at this establishment. Regrettably, my experience was marred by subpar dishes and an overall lack of taste.
Firstly, the food exhibited a noticeable lack of freshness, indicating poor ingredient selection or inadequate storage practices. The vegetables seemed wilted, lacking vibrancy and flavor, which greatly impacted the taste of the dishes.
Furthermore, the cooking itself left much to be desired. Many items appeared overcooked and dry, suggesting a lack of attention to detail in the kitchen. The flavors were bland and uninspiring, failing to evoke the authentic essence of Udupi cuisine that one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
Additionally, the presentation of the dishes was lackluster, with sloppy plating and unappetizing aesthetics further diminishing the overall dining experience. It was evident that little care had been taken in the preparation and presentation of the food.
Overall, my visit to Udupi Vaibhava left me thoroughly unimpressed. The disappointing quality of the food, coupled with lackluster cooking and presentation, fails to justify a return visit. I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I ordered Gobi Manchurian, and they served me what clearly seemed like two-day-old food, just reheated and given hot. The quality was extremely poor and not fresh at all.
When I tried to raise a complaint, the staff refused to respond properly. Their behavior was rude and careless. It felt like they had no regard for customer satisfaction.
The Gobi Manchurian cost ₹130, which was absolutely not worth it. Honestly, even street food vendors serve better quality at a much lower price.

And service quality need to improve otherwise they will loose the business. This is the initial stage so they need to attract public. Suggestion: Initial stage they need to give affordable prices to localite. Once the customer habitual then if you increase the price 10% also they do follow without any issues. Service part need to be but fast because as observed employees were less so try to increase so that service can be faster. Now in weekend rush is there but in future they reduce if you are not taking any action on the same.
