I went to this restaurant hoping for good food looking at the reviews but was disappointment thoroughly!
We ordered thalis and wrongly guided on the items to begin with. All the fish was stale along with their gravies. Infact the gravies were of last night and it was stale as the curry was spoilt. The fried fish - prawns, Lepo/sole fish, bangdo/mackerel and eson /kingfish were all stale with gray flesh color. We were served kondyo/kube in place of tisryo and the preparation was also stale. When we clearly asked the servers why they had served us Kondyo/kube they didn't have an answer and were not apologetic as well which makes me believe that they scam people into eating low value item. Also, it didn't feel like a genuine mistake.
This place is a sorry excuse of a restaurant.
I think these reviews are paid or by people who are unable to identify fresh fish and fresh food sadly!
Edit: Reply to the owner for claiming that I am bad mouthing them--
This is not only one time review but a combined review of another visit as well. Might as well check with your other server. What's funny is you are questioning me but not your staff for serving patrons stale and misrepresented...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of trying the Tandoori Chicken at Villagers Crown, and I must say, it's hands-down one of the best I've ever had
The chicken was marinated to perfection, with a beautiful balance of spices that added depth and complexity to each bite. The tandoor-cooked exterior was crispy and smoky, giving way to juicy, tender meat within.
The portion size was generous, and the accompanying naan and chutneys were the perfect complements to the dish.
If you're a fan of Tandoori Chicken, or just looking to try something new, Villager's Crown is a must-visit. Their attention to detail and commitment to using only the freshest ingredients truly shine through in this dish.
