Al-Saj Hotel & Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

Very poor service. Food is below average. Rice was not properly cooked. Took more than 15 mins for them to bring curry for the meals. Better to go for other restaurants nearby since there are many.

I am editing my review post because of the reply from the business itself. Infact the owner. The reply was to give and take respect and regarding my behaviour which was horrible for them. Well in that case, I went to the hotel for food and to get quality food served on my demand. Otherwise I could have held my hunger for another couple of hours to eat from a better hotel. We went there on a weekend and it was almost 3 pm and they only had chicken biryani left and it had enough quantity. The rice tasted not so fresh but the chicken was good not to mention very tasty, just an okay taste. The price was 160 for a biriyani and kinda expensive for the food they serve. The hotel is situated near the Pine forest entrance almost a 200 meters distance only. Parking is available for 4-5 cars. The dining area is a little bit congested as you have to sit a little near the next table. They must be placed that many tables since it's near a tourist...

Lucky that am alive to comment here. Had c.biriyani on 1/1/2023 noon from here .All of us including kids got fever and heavy food poison.Jan entire month we suffered.we were out of options at that time since all hotels were full for lunch and heavy rush.Never in my life am going here.sorry to use harsh words. Seems like the chicken that came with biriyani was taken from another chicken curry or something.was hungry amd tired and was having no other way...
