We had a wonderful experience when we ordered a kerala full-meal “ Sadhya “ from ALA … Kuthuparamba on 30th May 2025.

We advance-ordered for 15 no’s of take-away meal sets just on the previous day late-night for a small get-together celebration function of our Mom’s 80th Birthday . The entire guests and family were amazed by the delicious 😋 preparation of Ala Sandhya they delivered and every items of the Sadhya were truly so well 👌made without leaving a chance for even a tiny concern and entire guests and family members only praised about the quality and homely taste of the food they enjoyed. The Qty. of each dishes Provided by ALA was really sufficient for a home party requirement for each which clearly shows how Ala thoughtfully planned and considered the customers extra requirements keeping mind for an out-station party event. The delivery packaging they provided were highly professional in a proper air tight stacked stainless steel tiffin carrier which facilitated easy handling , transportation, Hygiene condition throughout and more over really enhanced our quick serving without any further /multiple vessels transfer hassles while serving to the Guests… Thanks to Ala bakes and restaurant for providing this fabulous support and service in a very short time . Truly wonderful and value for money...

I would definitely give them 0 stars if I could. On 12/09/25 me and my family went to Ala, ordered fish curry and porotta for my son and rest of us had vegetarian dishes. Later when we tasted the fish found that my son is having rotten fish which he was saying he didn’t like (had half before we tasted). Told staff and cashier, said the fish was made at midday. I asked them to smell the fish. Even after washing my hand the smell wasn’t going away. I had great expectations as Lyndas/ Ala was the best in town my childhood days. Cashier said I don’t have to pay the bill and was apologetic(we paid the bill). Told them I will come back if any issues to my son. After couple of days my son got food infection and later was identified as CAMPYLOBACTER in his gut, where the complications were so bad and we had to admit him for a few days in hospital. Still he has not fully recovered from the infection as the complications as worse for this bacterial gastroenteritis. They are opposite to Govt Hospital and that is the quality of food that they provide to the sick and their families. I would have definitely gone to see the management at ALA if I were home, unfortunately as I am abroad I couldn’t. Ur food is really good but ur customer service sucks. The girl that answers the phone doesn't kno anything at all. Whatever I ask her she would say I don't kno let me ask. If she doesn't kno anything y is she answering the phone. Get someone who knows everything to answer the phone. She passes the phone to a guy. I'm not even finish placing my order for delivery and he keeps cutting me off. Y does he keep hanging up the phone? If ur gonna deliver don't u want the full order, the person's name and address and phone number? I had to keep calling bk before he took the order properly. Maybe about 4 times I had to call bk. As soon as I said two words he would say ok and hang up and I'll have to call bk. And the phone rings about 6 times before they would answer. If ur customer service is like this ur gonna start loosing customers. Coz people will get fed up and go elsewhere. Everyone at my house loves ur food. Whenever anyone comes over we get food from ur restaurant for their lunch and dinner. But if it's always gonna be like this then I'll go to another restaurant.
