Food was good. No issues in that. I specifically ordered three single Chapatis and Mushroom Masala. Waiter didn't communicate with me properly that they don't offer individual Chapatis in their menu, but only Chapati sets (3 Chapatis, Sambar and Chutney, provided as Chapati set) which was priced 50 rupees. Individual Chapati's will only cost only about 15 rupees per piece reasonably, which the cashier/owner didn't admit or agree with. The waiter provided me Chapati set consisting of 3 Chapatis, sambar and Chutney. I thought it was just 3 single Chapatis being provided and that Sambar and Chutney in banana leaf were complimentary sides. I ordered additional 2 single Chapatis. Again, they intended to give only Chapati set instead of single Chapatis. Apart from that I had already ordered and eaten 2 Vadas and one Black Tea. The restaurant billed me 2 Chapati sets, a half Chapati set and Mushroom Masala Dosa in the bill (See photo). They didn't bill Black tea and 2 Vadas, due to their mistake. I told the cashier/owner that I ordered only single Chapatis and that I have to now pay the money of two and a half Chapati sets, which can be about 50-70 rupees greater. The cashier/owner was not very hospitable for his restaurant and was not willing to address my problem. He was like customers should know before entering that the Aaryas group of restaurants will only serve Chapati sets. If I had sufficient money in hand, I would have acknowledged and paid the amount. I have only limited cash which was reserved for my important expenses and I am not an earner of salary, being a student. Cashier/Owner was a little arrogant and told me to contact Police Station. He readily gave number of Kilimanoor police station. Police just said that all Aaryas restaurants are like that and didn't address the issue correctly. They were polite. They just asked me to settle the bill and to go to consumer court if there is issue. They suggested me to visit their station informally. I was not interested in that at all. I paid the bill, then informed the police that I am leaving and went away to my destination. I took a decision not to visit Aaryas group of restaurants from then. I also took a decision to suggest my friends not to visit such restaurants as much as they can. Thanks for the experience. Gladly, the loss incurred to me was lesser because of their mistake of not billing Black Tea and two Vada 😉. I invite owner/cashier to come and visit Kozhikode restaurants to learn about...

Read moreThe only reason I have come to this is place is that no restaurant was nearby. First of all the only thing good about the place was the parking lot. The ac area was out of service seemingly for the past 2 weeks. All the thalis were done due to insufficient ingredients and the rice was about to be done. As a restaurant who knows that they are busy almost everyday how can they not have any ingredients. The glasses and water was unhygienic. The mineral water was unsealed and the quantity of the rice items were less for 2 people and each biriyani is 120 rupees. The banana leafs were on the ground where all the insects were running. The fried rice was ok. The tomato rice was like veg fried rice mixed with sauces and tomato while the paneer biryani was like tomato rice mixed with biriyani and the dosa is not cooked properly. I wish I could sit in my car and eat, but oh no, there are no plates. Lastly I saw the owner being rude to all the reviews which were ENTIRELY TRUE. So sir/maam whether you like it or not u have to improve the quality of the restaurant or it might even go to the attention of the health head of the constituency. Please do not get scammed by these people and look for a good hotel. So sir/ma'am, if u do have a reply for my review i insit that you reply to the atrocities faced here.(If you could, probably not with how the...
