Beachill Café, a coastal-themed café popular for its ambiance Beachill Café is a trendy, beach-inspired hangout spot that has been gaining popularity among food lovers and Instagrammers alike. Located near coastal areas like Varkala or Kovalam (depending on the branch), the café offers a refreshing escape from the urban grind, combining a relaxed ambiance with a thoughtfully curated menu.
The first thing that stands out about Beachill Café is its aesthetic. Designed with a minimalist coastal vibe, the café features wooden furniture, white-washed walls, hanging plants, and open-air seating that lets in plenty of natural light and sea breeze. The interiors are a visual treat, making it a favorite for social media photos and casual get-togethers.
The menu is a blend of continental and fusion dishes, with a strong focus on health-conscious and vegan-friendly options. Signature dishes include smoothie bowls, grilled chicken sandwiches, avocado toasts, and pasta plates with local twists. Their all-day breakfast and specialty coffee menu, including cold brews and pour-overs, are particularly popular among regulars. The smoothie bowls are vibrant, fresh, and beautifully presented — both healthy and satisfying.
Service is friendly and unhurried, in tune with the chilled-out vibe of the place. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and open to customizing dishes to suit dietary preferences. Prices are slightly on the higher side compared to local eateries, but still reasonable considering the quality of food and the ambiance.
The café also hosts occasional events such as acoustic nights or art pop-ups, adding a community-centric element to the space. Free Wi-Fi and power outlets make it a comfortable spot for remote work or study.
One minor drawback can be limited parking in peak hours, and during the tourist season, it can get crowded. Also, while the open-air seating is a delight in good weather, it may not be ideal during heavy rains or extreme heat.
In conclusion, Beachill Café offers more than just food — it provides an experience. With its scenic location, modern menu, and laid-back charm, it’s a must-visit for anyone looking to unwind by the beach with good food and great vibes.

Read morePerched on the Menamkulam beachside, this charming restaurant harmonizes with nature, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the gentle smile of the waves.
Menamkulam Beach, also known as St. Andrews Beach, is a secluded gem near Kazhakoottam, Thiruvananthapuram. Its golden sand, clear waters, and palm-lined shores offer a serene retreat.
Beachills Cafe has become a magnet for beach lovers and foodies alike, offering a unique dining experience with delicious dishes amidst a stunning beachside setting.
The décor, adorned with a swing ( Oonjaal) and creative cloth artworks, adds to its allure. Strategically located near Kazhakoottam, Trivandrum, and close to a Christian church, this spot is easily accessible. With Trivandrum airport nearby, the sight of airplanes soaring over the ocean is an added bonus. The simple yet clean setup features wooden tables(almost 15-20 seats) and ordinary wooden benches, with open and covered seating options. The staff are very cordial, with some even balancing part-time jobs with their studies - I met a graduate working part-time while pursuing a Physical Education course, exuding energy and enthusiasm. Serving a mix of non-veg and veg dishes at pocket-friendly prices, this local eatery is a hidden gem. Since dishes are prepared fresh after each order, there's a wait, but the mesmerizing waves in front make the wait effortless. The beach itself is remarkably clean, calm and spacious, although visitors should be cautious of stray dogs wandering around - a concern that local authorities might want to address for a safer experience. Enjoy your meal to the tunes of recorded music, and bask in the warmth of a sunny evening – a truly unforgettable experience. While this beachside restaurant doesn't have its own parking, roadside parking is conveniently available just before entering the beach. The restaurant does, however, offer a well-maintained toilet for customers' use.
This beachside eatery may not be luxurious, but it's a pleasant comfortable and calm centre where you can taste local dishes, tea, cofee, juices and tandoori delights at affordable prices. The real treasure lies in the breathtaking views of the seashore and the mesmerizing dynamics of the waves – a perfect setting to unwind and enjoy. I recomment this resturant My...

So i went there couple of days before , we were 7in total , 5beef burgers ,1chicken burger, 1 chicken sandwich, starters with french fries and peri peri fries and 7 blackcurrent lime was ordered . A tall lean guy took the order and he told that starters would be ready by 15minutes and it came in 30minutes and its not an issue its a cafe that i know . So delay is not an issue im expecting from a cafe .But the main problem was a guy came with 8 beef burgers and 1 chicken burger for 7 of us and he was not having any proper idea about what we have ordered , we have asked him where is the chicken sandwich . He was reacting like did u ordered chicken sandwich . Already more than 1 hour has passed . So asked that guy to cancel sandwich, because we were not ready to wait for another 30minutes to get a sandwich prepared , and i told him that no issue bro , we will have the burgers we will adjust u can serve .So he served 6beef burgers and 1 chicken burger .And we dont understand why he came with that 9 burgers for 7 of us. We have started eating the burgers and 5 mins past that guy came again with the sandwich and told it was undergoing toasting and he asked us to take the sandwich . We told him that u should have told us that it was undergoing toasting . And we told to take it back as we have already starting having the burgers. He went inside and came with the tall lean guy who took the order ,his behaviour was not decent,he was literally arguing and he was telling that we have made a burden for them . We were not ready to pay for what we didnt ate . What irritated us is that ,from the moment we started having the food till the time we stepped out of the cafe that tall lean guy was literally staring us from somewhere . The cafe which is located in a beachside which is very much private and the time was already nyt 11.30 and we were with family ,ladies was also there, so felt an insecurity. Else we would have definitely made a problem regarding the behaviour of that tall lean guy . Anyway we have decided not to visit that place again due to a single person. Anyway i should also tell the good side too . Cafe had a good ambience and food which was not bad was served . The lady in the cash counter also...
