I recently visited Beirut Mandi Shop and had a mixed experience overall. Here's a breakdown of my thoughts across various aspects:
🌟 Ambience & Atmosphere:
The restaurant offers a pleasant and vibrant atmosphere. It’s clearly a "vibe place" with a setup that’s visually appealing and comfortable for both solo diners and groups. The interior is clean, well-lit, and creates a cozy environment to enjoy your meal.
🍽️ Food Ordered:
Chicken Mandi
Honey Alfaham
Both dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. The Chicken Mandi had that classic Yemeni-style spiced rice paired with tender chicken. The flavors were rich, with the rice cooked perfectly and aromatic. The Honey Alfaham stood out – grilled to perfection with a sweet glaze that complemented the smoky flavors beautifully.
🍗 Portion Size:
One major downside was the chicken portion size – it felt noticeably less than expected. While the taste was excellent, the quantity left a bit to be desired, especially if you're a hearty eater or sharing dishes. A more generous serving would’ve made the experience more satisfying.
👨🍳 Service:
Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food or the ambiance. The staff seemed inattentive, and there were delays in taking the order and serving. We didn’t feel particularly attended to, which took away from the overall dining experience.
💰 Pricing:
The rates are decent and affordable considering the location and the type of food. It's good value for money in terms of taste, but the portion-to-price ratio could be improved, especially for the chicken-based dishes.
Overall Verdict: 3.8/5 ⭐
Pros: Tasty food, great vibes, nice interior, reasonable pricing
Would I go again? Yes, especially for the Honey Alfaham — but I’d hope for better service and a bit more chicken on the plate...

The restaurant menu revolves around Mandi with few starters and salad to complement it.
You will be served with warm water, great touch to open up your appetite.
Kids get kiddo plates to make them feel special. That's something parents will like to treat their kids to.
Tried the honey chicken grilled mandi, and it was really lip smacking. Haven't tried such chicken in a mandi before, so good work for the chef who came up with that idea.
The Salads are very limited and most of them were not available. Ordered Fattoush and the taste was OK however, it's no where close to the real Fattoush which you can experience in a Lebanese or Syrian cuisine. I also tried their monitor and they were absolutely fantastic. The base is always a ready mix however, it's the additions that create the difference and make it distinguished.
Cherry on the top, they have a seating outside in the parking lot serving complementary kashmiri kava to seal your experience. Very well thought of.
Cleanliness is worth mentioning as it was top of the line. Staff is very regulated on this. Wash areas, bathroom, floor, cutlery, and the overall surrounding and atmosphere is very welcoming and pleasant.
Last but not least, ample of parking available and that should be...
